Oh and im glad i could help other people with deciding on what lights to use. I also said the same thing about the reverse lights....$80 Yikes!!
So they do look bluish in the fog light housing in person?

I like the yellow light output for fogs tho...Ive been thinking about doing 3k hid for the fog lights myself. Do you have to do the independent switch mod?

Actually if you have them on and look right at the housing, they look white, but they throw off a sweet yellow in a pretty wide pattern across the ground!!

they are about 10X brighter than my stock fog lights, so that right there helps a lot, its also nice because they are meant to cut through fog a little bit better too. Yes they are also just to look good.. I really like the Blue with Yellow fog contrast, but thats me!! The lens is stock all i changed is the bulbs to an HID kit.

What kind of white is it? A warm white similar to the stock halogens or a cool white similar to the oem HID's?

This picture shows you the difference in the DRL and then the White of the Fog light.. i would say its a cool white in the housing but all the output is yellow!!

Oh and about the Red Under lighting thing, i have no clue, but im pretty sure someone will chime in. Or you can take out the bulb then go to www.v-leds.com and try to match it up.. might work!!

Thanks, that answers my question. I think I'm sold on the 3k kit. Can't decide what to do with my DRL's (stock halogens vs. LED vs. "white" halogens) and my blinker bulbs (halogens vs. LED switchbacks). Hmm...

Got my doors, Map and Rear lights in but can't get the damn vanity light covers off.
Could someone please post a video of them taking the vanity light covers off? I've looked at a few threads here with illustrations but I can't get that damn things off.
Thanks!

they are pretty tough, you just have to pry them out from the center. So starting at the map lights you would take off the driver side vanity light starting on the right side and vise versa for the passenger side. Be careful though not to push too hard, all your doing is pushing a little crappy plastic thing back enough to let it slide out. Once you push it back enough just pull really hard and it will pop out.. I broke one and gorilla glued it back together..haha good luck

finally got around to installing those ZKW-R's and 85122+ bulbs the other day... Here are a couple shots.. I didnt clear out the amber reflector because i didnt prepare ahead of time to actually replace it with something, so one of these days ill make the change but for now im pretty happy.

at about 10' on the ground

this is about 20' kind of at an angle but its all i could find that was close to home

this is probably 50-60 ft.

this is the zoomed in shot of the 50-60 ft.

here is looking at the lights from about 75-85 ft.

closer shot

a little side angle

and a quick shot after i washed her up a little bit.

i know they arent the greatest pictures, they were all taken on my iphone 4. I did try to put in the cardboard spacer on one of them to see if i could get it sharper from farther away, but it didnt seem to do much. I also played with the lense a little bit. After a few tries i said screw it because the retaining clip looked like it was going to break after the next try so i just left it alone..
