o rly?! That makes me feel good man. You enjoying your TL? They're good cars.
I was thinking about that when i was looking at that pic. Chrome deletes are usually a good thing.

Looks Great Eric! Black roof would look very Nice! Do you use a fairing? I have looked into these racks, and really like the look! Just don't think I could deal with the possibility of scratches. I hate being OCD!
Lovin the pics with that Lens!

i still have the rack...most of the rack is intact after the tree branch fell on it saving my car. need to replace a couple of parts...i did have a thought to swap the base rack out from thule to yakima (i still have left over yakima parts from my last car...just need the clips for the TL). i haven't put my rack back on my car since my roof was repaired and repainted. gonna wait out the 3 months and decide if i want to keep the car naked or not.

the overexplainer
i got mine off craigslist for $240 and it included 2 SprocketRocket mounts and 2 fork mounts, 4 lock cores, and fairing. Deals are out there, just keep lookin.
In hindsight, i would rather go with Thule for the square bars. wheel fork mounts are useless on round bars.
Nice looking car OP! but with some real heavy snow you'd get stuck at that ride height :\ I'm a skier myself. Need to pick myself up one of dem ski/snowboard mounts.

Thanks baby xoxo.
That's a good look.
THanks man. REI didnt have the fairing in stock. I was kind of thinking about making a custom fairing with some carbon fiber laying around.
Thanks man. I've developed a fetish for roof racks lately so i felt the need to get one. You should get one! The yakima install video surprisingly had a blue TL as the demo car which helped push me over the edge to go and get one. haha
haha you see that? You still running yours?
You should put it back on! Sorry to hear about the branch. The clips are Q116 and Q112.
Thanks Ravin. My brother and a couple other dudes might go next week to sugar or beech. Whichever one has moar snow.
Thanks.
Vinny good to see you're still browsing teh acurazines. Hope you're doing well.
Thanks!
I'm actually dissapointed in how that photo turned out haha.
lol oh those are just brown boxes that say LEGO. You've probably got something you can put up there.
Thanks! Yeah you're probably right. Might have to raise it up some and run the oem bumper.
haha I would love to get paid in LEGO for a competition. So far that hasn't happened lol. Thanks for the kind words.

That wasn't on your car Friday was it?
Where'd you go boarding (I didn't think anyone had any snow this year)?

You ever been? It was my first time. Really nice up there. Massive resort with lots of places to stay.
Here are some photos to help you get up there..
View from the Soaring Eagle Lodge. Stayed here the last night.
My brother stayed here a couple years ago..
Loggers Run. Stayed here 2 nights..Garage, 4 bedrooms, jacuzzi..
West Virginian local brew called Cold Trail Ale..
And two of the cars that inspired me to get a roof rack that were in the parking garage at the resort..
Thanks! Yeah it's pretty cool, i think i like it.
Thanks man!

Nope. We've taken day trips once a year or so to Winterplace to ski, but haven't made it to Snowshoe. Can't make a day trip there; need an overnight or two.
Nice pics.
