Doorsills look fantastic
I wish they were $100+
$260 is TOO HIGH
If they break too easy, not worth it

Real cool

I've had these for about 6 months now... everything is working fine still.
Much nicer looking than the overlay style, worth the extra $100 in my mind. The light output is even between the front and rear, and these look like they came with the car.

FWIW, the value of the sills justifies the price. There are hand modified OEM components. The OEM sills alone are about $150 new I believe, plus the lighting hardware, machining, and assembly.

This is not sweatshop assembled chinese junk, but rather and enthusiast who makes cool gear in his basement... like me. I wish I was talented enough to make these myself, as I think you could do your own for < $50... but screw it, time is money.

those are the super computer ones, the ones i have (which over lay your stock sills)... they should be $160~

it looks like this thread is about ones that actually replace your OEM door sills. they should be around ~$300....

Desper... Those are the supercomputer "overlay" version. This thread is about the modified OEM version, which is more expensive, but nicer looking IMO (and worth the price).

Agreed - The OEM replacements are much nicer and you don't have to fuss around with 3M tape, Velco or epoxy trying to make them fit right.

Mine are in - soon to be installed

It was actually the incorrect fuse that caused the problem and not the sills themselves. The sills are great. I bought them a while ago and have no problems since.

Where did you order the good ones $260. I might get them instead of buying FIREWORKS.

Many years spending $500 on FIREWORKS.

Check back at post #1........this thread is a year old......LOL.

BTW - my younger brother was over tonight - I showed him the OEM replacement sills and for some reason he asked me for a 9V battery???

I had no freakin clue you could rig these sills up on a 9V and get a look at the light strips......

Anyway - the OEM replacement sills in blue and absolutely - freaking beautiful!!! It's a nice clean - solid - even "Ice Blue"............ I'll get some pics up as soon as I can.

I love those Door sills BUT $300

Not to change the subject but I can't wait for the DVD conv.

I went to a high end shop in Glenview, IL. and to have them put a single DVD player in my glovebox and put in some sort of NAV conversion DVD harness, they wanted $1,200 total. I thought that was quite a bit considering the DVD player was a single DVD unit for $199.

The shop/store was called Abt. AWESOME place. They do great work, BUT $$$$

LOL - I know, expensive but I bought mine before the price went up to the current price ......... I LOVE the look............much cleaner than the others. (Not knocking the others but just not the look I'm after)...........

I haven't had a chance to check but a complete set of replacement sills OEM I heard was around $150.00.

I wanted to do this initially but I went for supercomputer's set because they were of course cheaper. The real reason I wanted these and was about to ante up for it is that I wanted them in white just to be different....if only I could put down $300 like it's nothing....it sucks being a cheapskate.
