Holy crap dude! My car has seen some CO weather for sure, but has never been totally frozen over like that. Damn! Need to fabricate a flamethrower for the front of the car to melt the ice on the road as I drive lol How did you get the ice off?
It has been cold as fawk here in metro Denver the last few days. My car saw the lowest temp on the thermo it has ever seen this morning -10 deg F. With wind chill it was getting as low as -30! My car WAS clean (sorta) back on Sunday, now it's just You know it's cold when the washer fluid isn't supposed to freeze in the reservoir until the temp is 25 below, but then it does...

Before a big snowfall I cover the windows with a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water.
The chemical properties of vinegar resist the formation of ice on your windows.
The ice that would have normally formed instead stays as slush right above your windows beneath any additional snow that may have fallen on top of it.
When you go to clear your windows it all just wipes away easily. There is a slight aroma of vinegar but that goes away as soon as you drive off I've noticed.
This came in handy as we got hit with a snow storm overnight and mid-day.
Given the severity of the OP icing I doubt it could prevent that but for regular snow it works wonders.

its was too warm for it to snow thats why it was rain instead and it reached 40 degrees so all the ice melted itself after letting the car warm up i could scrap the windows. I havent seen ice like this around here since I can remember we have been getting some wierd weather lately. Seems like once a week were getting either snow rain or ice. It was kinda neat walking out to see my car like that and made for some good pics and easy to clean. And i def wasnt going driving last nite in that stuff. That woulda been a bad idea but im sure there were some people out there tempting it.

The weather looks familiar. I was walking in our backyard today and there's a solid layer of ice on it. I tried jumping on it but couldn't even break through.
How'd you get all the ice off your TL? Ice scraper?

I think it's kinda cool That is of course, before you realize you have to get that stuff off.
I think there was an A3 in the WTF Car of the Day Thread that was caught near a broken water main on a freezing day in NYC. Owner cracked his rear window trying to chisel the ice off. It's unbelievable.
Just makes me appreciate my garage all the more. Not trying to rub it in or anything...
