Did you just paint the stock grille?
Looks great except for the eyelids. Why would you want to decrease the light output area of your headlights? Definitely a different look, though.

thx for all the comments....its amazing all the +1s ive been getting latley....the stripe idea did come from the GTI, so thx VW lol. they arent painted, its just 1/8" pinstripe from 3M. unfortunatly I dont have any pics of the front end w/ the stripe but w/o the eyelids. (which by the way i dont think cut down on light at all...I think they actually cover less than the ones ive seen to buy) and as far as the car...The metallic silver part of the grill I painted NBP. all the chrome from the type s pkg was painted flat black (grill, Fr bumper peices, rear trunk trim and emblems) as well as all the black trim around the side windows. the wheels are Sterns ST-11's black w/ a polished lip, but i had them powdercoated flat black too. sizes are 19 X8.5 and 19 X 9.5

AC, I followed your lead and did my front grill and rear grill like yours (with the red pinstripping). No pictures yet, I'll try to take some this weekend. Excellent look!
