It really does look great. If I were to go that route I'd definitely vinyl it. It would protect the finish and keep it's looks much longer than paint would. Anyone with a WDP and flat blacked Out front grill out there?

Yea neither did I lol I wrapped the middle bar in carbon fiber, redid the hood trim and that narrow silver piece back to silver, and did the rear bar and emblem in a new gloss black. Looks nice

I wouldn't do anything with the Type-S grill. It comes black chrome to set it apart from the factory.

No need for a pic. Just go to your car and look at the front grill. For reference, look up a base TL front grill.

Our grill finish is different.

The grill. If you know they're different, you know what's black chrome. I'm not sure that's the name given by Acura. But, if you know that the finishes are different, you know what I mean by black chrome.

I'm talking about the "shiny" part of the grill, not the mesh.

they dont sell it pre-cut....you have to buy a size big enough to cover the roof....look at a video on youtube to see how to install it.......search for 3m matte black vinyl install...its not too hard...its a dry install..no soapy water needed

Thanks for the tips! Did you cover the entire grill or just the chrome parts?

Also, has anyone used the gloss black 3m vinyl on nbp or any other color for that matter?

I think the flat black looks awesome on silver but I think I like gloss black better for nbp. Do you think it would be possible to cover all parts of the grill both shiny and non shiny parts?
