Well Ive decided to trade in the TL for something more practical. I must be getting old or something.

Looking to come out ahead on whatever I trade in for so i have some money and no more car payment.

Ill still be on the boards talking shit to all the new guys posting dumb shit, but what else is new.

trust me, if you mod a car, no matter what you buy next -- you'll mod it. I bought my TL because i was "going to keep it stock" and it was "practical". I was sick of modding my Evo and Si and dumping cash here and there. Guess what, a year later i was dumped on volks...it will never end. If you modded once, you'll mod forever.

 

I agree with blue rocket.....i bought the RL because I did not want to mod....

This was my vision when I bought them from you.

Unfortunately no spacers. but they clear just barely, I mean notecard size barely. I might get spacers, but like I said, the future for my car is uncertain.

The reason i couldnt fit a bunch of people in my TL is rubbing issues. I tucked tire all around, and ran little camber on already semi-flush setup. But thanks man.

Wow...they wouldnt clear my Rotoras, and thats the main reason i got rid of them. As for spacers on them. If you go over 5mm, youll need to get new studs. Those wheels dont have the "pockets" in the back for the stock studs to sit in when using spacers with built in studs.

I dont have them off the car yet. Need to get new lower grills.

i'll tell you this much, people that are getting rid of their TL's are going to miss them. Acura's style has gone to hell and the 3G TL's are going to be a classic style that you'll never get tired of.

IMO, there isn't much on the market now that really tickles my fancy. maybe an M3 sedan or G37, other than that cars are getting pretty ugly, ESPECIALLY Acura's.

Two things that would be made St's car absolutely perfect....a TL-S interior (i hate beige and wood) and a TL-S front end (personal preference - i do not like the non Type-S bumpers). Other than that he definitely had one of the nicest looking TL's on the board.
