I'm sorry to hear man, you have a downright gorgeous WDP, but you are doing the right thing financially it sounds like. I gave up my first car after 2 months of ownership because my finances were in the hole. After 3 years I stepped my game up and now in my WDP TL. It's never an easy thing to do, but sometimes you don't have a choice. Enjoy that $0 car payment

i'll tell you this much, people that are getting rid of their TL's are going to miss them. Acura's style has gone to hell and the 3G TL's are going to be a classic style that you'll never get tired of.
IMO, there isn't much on the market now that really tickles my fancy. maybe an M3 sedan or G37, other than that cars are getting pretty ugly, ESPECIALLY Acura's.
Two things that would be made St's car absolutely perfect....a TL-S interior (i hate beige and wood) and a TL-S front end (personal preference - i do not like the non Type-S bumpers). Other than that he definitely had one of the nicest looking TL's on the board.

I dont need a new flashy sedan to zip around in and look cool at this point in life. I need something that is cheap to maintain. If i cant find a Trail Blazer I like i may just end up rocking a older 4Runner and calling it good.
Finish school, get started in a career, then worry about getting back into a car. And im sure ill be able to find a 3rd Gen if thats what i decide to get.

You're a smart guy to do this IMO, what are you in school for? I currently have a 2G TL but really want a 3G, but I'm only 17 so I want to keep the 2G in till I get out of college then I'll have no problem affording maintenance+modding a nice 3G or my choice. If I were to get a 3G now I would have to dump ALL my money to be able to afford it, so yeah it'll suck haha. Anyways best of luck, drive looking for that 4 runner, those things run and run and run and run and run...so on lol.

Any like others said, once a modder... always a modder... even if you get a Hyundia tuscon, you'll still find the need to make it your own my modding it....

Bro I 100% feel you on this one....I some time feel this way. I wonder sometimes if i should just sell my car, lose some hours of work...because there will be no car payment and more focus on my school work. We are still very young and have a lifetime ahead (god willing) to drive nice cars.
wow, just realized you're only two years older than me... My main focus is def. school as well.. Modding has been set to a halt... However, tires are killing me...
You guys are making me reconsider about modding this TL anymore... lol
I also just foudn out today that my CV boot's leaking........... I didn't even know about it. The state referee guy inspecting my car told me.... more money down the drain..... =(

I remember when we were the only 2 TL's at that honda tech meet at issaquah xxx meet years ago.
the 3rd gens are getting too cheap now making it possible for more people to afford them and make let say "interesting" decisions on how they mod them lol
