I'm going to get them powdercoated, painting doesn't last that long before they start fading or flaking. What seal kit did you use to rebuild them? the OEM for 50 each, or did you find the kit for less elsewhere?

Yeah, I used the oem ones, $105 shipped. I can't believe they charge so much for some simple rubber gaskets. I guess that why they call it the stealership.

DAMN, I was hoping you found a good kit for less. Paul showed me the kit, coundn't believe the price REALLY! It's more than half the price of the caliper.
It will either be blue or black, leaning towards blue. Depends on the shade/s of blue

Lol thanx. I actually only had 5 sets of wheels, but I was running out of room as to where to put them at, so I sold some and now I'm down to 3. I'm still in search of my new wheels. Hopefully I find the right set soon.

What size are the gold rims? Those are the XXR's right? Also, on that set up you have the H&R springs right?

Im completely torn on either picking up the black chrome XXR's (19 inch) or a set of Aspec (chrome finish).

The gold rims i had were XXR's 18x8, and yes the suspension set up i have is tokico blues with H&R race springs.

I think you should go with the A-specs in ebony chrome they cost a little more new, but well worth it. keep your eye on the BM you might be able to find a set at a good price

Well guys, i finally stop being lazy and did some more mods to the car.
I want to thank Dave for helping me wire my Dom's nav2go and my reverse cam. Also, thanx to Roger555 for the diagram he sent to assist with the install.
Here's what i've done now.

1/11 msw 18 wheels (Only rocked them for 6 day's, didn't really like them lol now im back to Type-S wheels)

man...i remember when you FIRST painted your car a while back its come a LONG ways. the only small bit that bothers me is the front aspec lip. that black at the front, bottom...is it a glossy black? i think it'd look aggressive with a flat black + blacked out headlight combo with some halos...but eh, what do i know?

The bottom part of the aspec lip is painted nbp, and I actually like the shiny aspect of it
Your definitely right about the headlights, blacked out would look more aggressive. I've been thinking of getting quad projectors so if I go that route I will more than likely black them out.

Go with Firestone. Even though it's $20 or $30 more than it was a few months ago, you get your monies worth. I've had probably 5 or 6 alignments there since I got mine and I'm going again this week or next when the A-Specs go back on. Suckers

Yeah, i spoke with a Firestone Rep today and the price did go up to $179.99 but i was able to find a coupon on line so at least that will help some.
Once i get the service i plan of getting my monies worth.
All i need now is to get my fenders rolled.

Well funny story, i currently have a TL and a CL Type-S(daily driver), Lexus LS 400(no tags just taking up space, Need to sell). My girlfriend sold her car a few months ago, so i kinda let her have the CL-S, and the more i thought about it the more i miss driving it as my daily. That thing has some power.
I tried to get it back from her but the only way i could convince her to fork it over was if i would help her buy another one. Inn Come's the new car an 01 CL with an 03 Conversion.
I thinks she's only gonna keep it till the end of the year, she's planning on getting a 3g TL, or a G35 coupe we shall see.

Don't waste your time with firestone, you will end up spending half a day getting an alignment. The ones around me are all shit. Maybe around Baltimore they are better.

My Spring break starts on friday so maybe we can get them hooked up. and I kinda messed up my passenger side mirror ( you'll see what I mean when you see it)
