These wheels are clean and aggressive looking. I'm a big fan esp of the chromium black for my ASM TL. I was wondering if 18x8.75 et 35 would be OK to run 255/35/18 with a-spec suspension and no rubbing. If not, I can play it safe with the stock tire size of 235/40/18.
Thanks to everyone that posted pics of their TL w these sexy wheels.

Not necessarily. The sidewall on 255/35/18 will be about the same size as the sidewall on a 235/40/18 since the sidewall measurement is a percentage of the tire width. I want to do 255/35/18 on the 18x8.75 et 35 assuming they wont rub. I would rather have a little extra tire width which would provide better traction and protect the rim better.

Thanks, guys.
mrlal, my personal experience with the Falkens is that they are crap.
I had a set years ago on my Grand Prix and hated them---compound too hard, harsh ride, no traction. Fast forward to January 2011. The tire guy brings out a set of ZE912s. I tell him my experience and he says, "They've come a long way since then." OK, I tried them. Less than 20K later (on a supposedly 40K tire) they were cupped and howling. Took them back, got a discount on a set of Eagle GTs and have yet to regret it. Dude says, "Well, I know you can't run the second rate tires on this car or it eats them up." Yeah, right. Asshole.
Moral of the story---find a brand of tires you like and just order them online. Find a reputable shop you trust to mount them and be done with it. Goodyear Eagle GT for me.

I like these wheels but I don't know... I want the 18x9.75 and I want to use 235 wide tires so I won't sacrifice traction. My car isn't lowered either, but maybe in the future. Also, how much do these wheels weigh? Less or more than oem? Oem tl-s wheels are 27 lbs I think.

Its just some wire and brackets. Walk into any Advance Auto or similar and ask for a TPMS install kit. They may also be called a wheel band kit.
