dont wanna jack the thread up but how are the quality of these guys? i know they arent super light or anything ( i dont mind too much) but i've been thinking if i should pick up some xxr's since i am on a budget...(probably 006 for mesh w/ lip in 19's) i mean, if you can do all over, would you still rock these? save up more for "high end" brands, or just get high end brands used?

again, nice tl's guys. nicely done

Definitely considering selling my Type-S wheels for these...

I wouldnt change a thing if I had to do it over, perfect size and offset for my purposes. I haven't been on the highway yet with them but they feel good with the little city driving that I have done and I dont anticipate any issues. These wheels are very sexy once you rock em right. I could go lower on my car but I am not into the hellaflush/hellacamber thing, I just want a clean drop eliminating wheel gap. BTW finding the perfect height with coilovers is a bitch

^Are you on coilovers or just H&R sport springs? (Sorry, your sig just said sports)

I think the drop is essential in pulling these wheels off; And I've been thinking and debating about what option to go with for lowering my car.

Lighter than stock.
but i've been thinking if i should pick up some xxr's since i am on a budget...(probably 006 for mesh w/ lip in 19's)
Check out the 526s...ridonculous lips, part of their new lineup.

i mean, if you can do all over, would you still rock these? save up more for "high end" brands, or just get high end brands used?
It all depends on what your budget is. At 29, my retirement, savings, and mortgage are a bit more important than 'baller' wheels, and these allow me to not compromise the integrity of more important accounts while still improving the looks of the car.

The ONLY thing I would change would be the tire size. With cut fenders, I should have run a 235/40. There's plenty of room and my drop height, in spite of what we (guys I talked about this with) originally though.

Hmm. I wonder if Tein s-techs or H&R sports would be enough to pull these wheels off. I'm not sure I'm ready to go for coilovers just yet.

In any event, your car looks sick with the wheels AND the drop!

Thanks man. Do yourself a favor and dont make the mistake I did. Pass on the springs and get the coilovers. I was once in a position like you but trust me, you are going to want to go lower.

Get yourself an arsenal of wheel cleaning devices...I have a big brush for the macro and a smaller microfiber wand ot the micro on mine. Makes it pretty easy.

I lowered the front by 5mm yesterday and my fender decided to peel a small layer from the tire when entering the parking lot this am. Now I gotta spend my lunch time raising it back up before my aligment this afternoon

Props to all the xxr guys though. Cars look great!

Battles look like they must be 18x9.5 e15. How do you get those to fit?!

Both wheels are about the same price, and last I checked, only a handful of people are running Battles.

You figure the rest out while the 527 crew goes back to WINNING.

Gorgeous pictures^^^...ok, now that the rest of the car looks like this...I'm going to HOUND you to either open your headlights and clear/black them properly, or take off the overlays and rock em stock.

^lol, J.
Dennis is scared to open them up.
But with my help, I'm confident that we could transform those stock headlights into something cool.

The cars are looking right, perfect offsets

I can't seem to find the battles on XXR's site, interested in seeing the specs.
