Quite honestly, those are really good shots Tyler!

I know what you are aiming for, with the crisp clarity without noise, and I understand it's hard to do with gear that doesn't cost as much as a house... but understand that the gear doesn't make the photo. Try to go out and shoot hundreds of pictures to work on your technique. Try different settings and play around with it. Try new techniques such as panning:

You will be surprised with the results you will get once you get used to different settings that you are comfortable with.

The pics arent bad given the environment. What was your exposure?

Do you remember what the primer grey ricey Civic hatch ran? Im thinking he has a K series under the hood, judging by the position of the cowl.

thanks UA6~RBP. I have higher expectations for myself and the pictures I take so I get frustrated when they don't turn out perfect or as I envisioned.

Morgan I was a lazy bitch and didn't mess with the exposure It was just on auto the whole night.

The Civic and the Teggy were both fast as fawk. I want to say he was running in the 11s but don't quote me on that.

Ty...do you have that 50MM F1.8 lense I just got?!?! I'm amazed at what that thing can do, even in "auto" mode right out of the box.

It's not the arrow that makes the difference, it's the indian! Was told that once when I told some guy I wanted a better bike.

PS...awesome shots...love all the mopar vs. ford vs. GM shots...and in LOVE with that teal coupe.

EDIT: Sure sounds like Morgan has a lens that he barely uses that might fit what you're looking for for not too expensive.

If my K suspicions are correct, 11s are about right. Its an 88-89, about 100lbs lighter then the 90-91s, its also not an Si, so he's looking at ~1900lbs before stripping everything. The guy chose the right 5lb bag to shove 10lbs of shit in.

I was shooting for low low low 12s and possibly even high 11s with my Civic, but that project never took off

Cool pics mang. If you ever go with him go to the tech inspection and ask if they have something you can sign so you can be on the track. The track out by me did that and I could be standing right by where they do burnouts. Made for some real fun times, just get used to smelling like tire smoke all night and not being able to hear lol. For example:

It was supposed to be for people who would help with the car as it was staging and such, but I had 10 or so friends at the strip that night, so some open spots were available. All I did was sign a release form and I could go where ever I wanted.

Nice pics (real) Tyler.

That Cobra had a shaker scoop, but no shaker hood? Wonder what was his/her reasoning behind that. , no

After reviewing a bit more, not sure that is a real Cobra. Don't know why you would go Procharger when they are already supercharged from the factory. I'm confused.

I have a buddy with a Cobra (98), and the first question people ask is, "is that a real Cobra"? He gets so pissed. I guess that shit is more common than I think. People should get their ass kicked for cloning cars.

He dad gave him a huge hug. They both knew the potential consequences of racing so I think they were both grateful that the car wasn't damaged any more than it was and that the kid wasn't hurt.

Thanks Anil!

The front plate of the car said "Preacher". After I saw that it all made sense

There were two yellow Cobras there that night so I might have gotten some of the pictures mixed up. One was a coupe and one was a convertible.

Dude, I seriously regretted posting that video for Tyler. I thought it would funny and cute but I never meant for this to happen. Poor kid had to have his entire right arm amputated due to overuse. Mitzi ended up leaving him because she got sick and tired of all his skeet shots coming out skeetless. Then, the sickness was so deep that he tried learning to use his left arm...his friggin hand slipped off the end of his carrot and he lost one of his eyes.

I'm sincerely sorry, Tyler. I never wanted this for you.

^^^well, not totally...in hopes of impressing the ladies, he currently dropped out of college to use that money to fun his "arm reattachment" project. Only reason it's costing so much is he's not having them reattach it to his shoulder, if you get my drift.
