Have you guys thought about the east coast Honda/Acura meet this June 9th down in Doswell VA? We should have a Azine meet within that and rep. There's a thread in the NY/NJ regions about it and some members want to caravan down.

I need moar low! New wheels would be nice too

But I'm pretty much done with the car. Everything I want is too expensive and hard to justify even if I had the funds. Maybe I'll get a lip spoiler but that's about it. I really need to replace my stupid stock amp before anything else.

Hmmm...I'd be interested to hear what you think of that RF amp, Tyler.
If I had to replace the oem amp, I'd have gone with the RF...I always felt like it needed a little more kick to it.

Uncald4 was supposed to be working on fixing the center channel issue along with the remote wire issue as well. There hasn't been any updates in that thread about the amp. I think a few members actually had theirs fail on them. I could be wrong. He was also supposed to make a harness for people wanting to run aftermarket amp setups but theyre not doing that anymore either.

Well after reading thru the thread first off he rushed it to get it on the market without fully making it what it was supposed to be a true PnP setup. Then the dissatisfying issue of people losing the center channel speaker because it's a 4channel amp. I don't understand if he went thru all of th e motions to have RF make a oem replacement amp that's better then oem it should've been exactly that. I kinda lost my faith in it. I'm doing my setup completely aftermarket whenever I get around to it.

disconnect the mic which is in the back seat ceiling next to the dome light and remove the factor sub. run the cables...there is a firewall pass through so that's what I used. I wired the sub directly in line with the factory sub so I could control with the navi. there lots of threads on the topic with pics! good luck.

Yes, back to my car

Ideally I would like the RF amp. I always thought the stock system was pretty weak. $300 though

My stock sub blew (literally, lulz) so I took it out. From there I tapped into that wire and ran that wire to my amp. Now I have full control of the sub from the stock headunit. I can fully turn it off independently from the rest of the system.

Back to my car for a second if yall don't mind

I'm going to get a can or two of Plastidip and try a few things on the car. Without a doubt I'll be spraying over the silver strip above the license plate. I'll probably go ahead and redo my grill and my rear emblem as well since the paint is fading and chipping off.

What do you guys think about me doing the silver parts of the front grill? The hood piece and also the piece that goes under the grill? Not sure what I think about it but those are the only silver body pieces I have left.

Hmmmmmmmm.

alright, fine.
Honestly, I wouldn't wanna drop any money on the RF amp either, but if I HAD to spend 250 on oem replacement OR 300 on the RF, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.
We need someone that knows about car audio to find the fkn resistor that has gone bad on the amp board and fix it. They'd have plenty of business, I'm sure.

If your using Plastidip on all the silver parts, black it all out. If you dont like it, you could always peel it off.

Thanks for the info on the sub as well. Thats probably my best option.

I feel the same way about the amp. If the OEM one is going to cost $250-300, I might as well get a more powerful aftermarket one for the same price.

Yeah I plan on peeling it off if I don't like it. If I do like it, I'll get the clear coat that can go on top and make it glossy.

Without a doubt I want to do the rear bar. The grill is still up for debate.

blackface...
I did black on all of it, rear trim included.

About amp...save up and do 2 REAL amps and call it a day...moderate 4 channel for the mid/highs and a nice sub setup for some real bass.

On WDP, I'd probably have it painted to color match the entire thing and leave the a in silver.

LOL...
I have a buddy with a WDP base 07...went with him and helped swap over to the aspec bumpers and the guy sold him the top/bottom pieces in wdp too...look amazing...the inner part of the V and the crossbar were painted a matte black with the A still silver. I love it.

I am also pushing the whole paint matched oem visors...in WDP. I have a feeling it'll look great.
