Shave that tab off where the front fender meets the bumper (the same piece that slashed your front tire). Looks good

I was project supervisor

I'm in love with how it sits. I won't be making any changes. I think I can get rid of the bumper tab rub once I grind it down with a Dremel and get an alignment. The front toe is way outwards, resulting in the tire being super close to the front of the fender.

Amen to that Dan. I can't thank you enough for making the drive.

I plan on it! Probably won't get to it until Wednesday though

Thanks Chip! It's about time I catch up to you fellas

I don't want to go any lower, I think 24" is perfect.

You da man Roger! And no, luckily it has not. The only thing rattling now is the rear amp because the coils are set pretty stiff. I'm hoping I won't hear that anymore once the seats are back in

I'm calling two local places tomorrow to see if I can get an alignment on Tuesday. I truly think fixing the toe up front will help with the rubbing.

Nice work, Tyler! I'm in awe of that garage...so jealous.

I had the same thing happen to the tab on my front driver's fender once, so I used a metal nibbler and snipped it off, then gently "rolled" the sharp edge up with a wooden bat.

Oh hai dreem1er. You were missed.

Thanks to the rest of you fellas Those pictures are always fun to edit and post! Like you said Anil, now I can just blame you if I post them and they aren't well liked

John, I plan on going to Sears tomorrow and I'll keep an eye out for one of those! Aaron said he used a Dremel and that's the route I was going to go since I have one as well. I wasn't able to get an alignment until Friday so I'll have to do as much as I can tomorrow

As for ride comfort, it's just different. It's stiff but not terrible. I just need to get used to it

The car is filthy from rain yesterday and today but I'm hoping to take a few more pictures for everyone

Do you have any pictures of where you cut? Austin sent me some pictures (thanks btw ) but having another perspective would be great!

Your wheels would look fuggin fantastic If you're feeling generous, you can donate them to a good home

Have you considered going a bit further out in the rear? Maybe 5mm more and extended lugs if need be.

Hell no I'll have to take better pictures of how close I am to rubbing.

And I just pulled out my fender in the same spot while pulling into my driveway tonight. FUCK. I guess doing that saved me some work tomorrow when I get out mah Dremel

Wait, so you got coilovers and only lowered the car .25" from where you sat before?

Okay, first off, that edited shot needs to be your new avatar. Now.
Secondly, it's the transition where the fender rolls off to become the bumper support. That metal is strong, especially on a bend, best best is to cut it at the bend, like, vertically...then shave off horizontally to remove that sharp edge, then use a rubber mallet and piece of wood for support to knock the remains upward.

Awesome work, Buddy...that car looks flawless with that stance. So glad you're happy.

Roger. Fk you. I am in love with your garage...have been since that build thread on it you made years ago.

I trimmed the driver side fender and got a bit too happy with the Dremel so I had nothing left to bend and hammer upwards

I'll work on doing that on the passenger side doe

Roger is in the RTP area, not Greensboro.

I got a good look at what the fender has done to my left front tire today:

I'm mostly living at my parents' house this summer and they were not pleased to be picking up pieces of rubber out of the driveway

Hey, you're not doing it right till you're gouging tire.
Although I did that to my first set...I backed off a few MM's now and don't even rub anymore...somewhat disconcerting but if that's the worst of what you get, you'll be alright.

I'm a bit embarrassed to post these since they are downright terrible pictures but I figured I had to post something.

The car won't be changing much from this point forward but I do have three things I would like to happen:
-JnC Headlights
-OEM Rear Lip Spoiler
-Front Bumper and Lip Repaint

Besides that, it's "done"
