Here you go. I just found this. It was halfway down the second page of threads in the photography section. Looked lost, so I thought I'd bring it back.

I dont know if i'm losing interest in the car or because one of my wheels are damaged, or just plain lazy.

Not good at editing pics yet either. Think i want a new lens soon, but yeah think i'm gonna bring the camera out for the holidays.

Steven. Thank you sir! Same to you and your family

No TL updates but I was recently in Florida for a week visiting family. Gotta love 80-degree weather in December. It was 92 south of Naples

For those of you who don't remember, a while back my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer, so I was eager to visit her. She went through radiation as well as having a small cancerous section removed so she's now cancer free! Thanks to everyone who asked about her and kept my head up through the process.

Due to her health concerns, their house and cars were a mess. My grandfather has a 2004 F-150 Lariat that I absolutely love but he's had no time to clean. Look how gross it was:

And when you thought it couldn't get any worse...

Yes, that's moss/mold growing from around the door handle on the left side.

The truck had been sitting under a tree unmoved for almost a year while he drove my grandmother in their more easily accessible car to her appointments and such. I spent almost 3 hours cleaning the truck and getting all of that mold and crap off of it. Here's a 50/50 shot after just ONE wash of the hood. I ended up washing the whole truck twice:

While I was in FL, I woke up and checked Facebook to see this:

Yep! StanceNation found my picture on Flickr and put it on their page! I'm nowhere close to being a pro photographer but I thought that was effing awesome.

I posted the following pictures in the "Spotted Exotic Cars" thread or whatever the hell it's called now...

My first time seeing this on the road...

Dat AMG...

These were on I95 heading north...

He needs a bigger sticker...

And some other pictures I took while in Florida...

I got bored...

And here's a picture of the TL (sitting along Morgan's FR-S) so the thread is deemed "on-topic"...

In case I don't have an update before then, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and/or holiday!

Great post Tyler! Those are some nice shots. Off topic shot, but I like the third to last pic, very cool.

Also very glad to hear about your grandma. That's an illness I unfortunately know all too well in my family.

Super glad to hear about Grandma too, buddy.
Great grandkid...love the 50/50 shot of the truck. Great transformation. They should sell the truck to me for cheap...I always wanted a home depot getter...

And your shots, my favs are the sunsets and the bird. AWESOME!

The cars you took pics of are ones we see everyday here in FL. I'm not even phased anymore to see exotics or supercars around town. I'm more impressed when I see a cleanly modded car rather than the top of the line "exotic" that was bought that way from the dealer. It's more rare for me to see a sporty luxury car with $3k+ wheels than all those AMG's, Ferrari's, Bentley's, etc.

I'm just two hours north of Naples. Next time you're on the west coast of FL , we will have to arrange something.

Thanks J!

If you're serious about the truck, I'll keep you in mind. It's a 2004 Lariat 2WD extended cab with only 27k miles. It's a bit rough around the edges, some dents and scratches with rust, but it's a super reliable and powerful truck. It has the 5.4 V8.

I love that sunset picture as well

I hadn't been to Naples in a few years and forgot how much money was down there

If I had been in Florida longer, not with my family, and had the TL with me, I would have loved to meet up with you and a few other members. There's a possibility of my girlfriend and I making a trip in May so I'll keep you in mind

Well, I probably SHOULDN'T be, but who knows, man. I've often considered having a truck for making Home Depot runs etc and now that the TL is paid off...

I'll stay in touch about the truck if he ever becomes serious about selling. It's never driven but stubbornness runs in the family

So I did a bit of "unmodding" today by selling my K&N intake to AcuraTL06spd, the same local guy who I met with in the business park a while back. He got my intake and then I reinstalled my stock one. I never liked the intake, it was way too noisy, and it was the ONLY red thing on my car.

I can tell the car doesn't sound quite as throaty at higher RPMs but I don't regret the decision whatsoever. Plus the stock intake looks WAY better with my crazy hydrodipped shrouding...

I was lazy and just installed the shown parts. I didn't think the extra tubes were worth my time or effort...

My pictures are crap so I just used my Photobucket account, therefore they aren't the best quality.

They were free ninety-nine

A local member was parting out and wanted to get rid of them. He asked if I wanted to trade my untouched set for his, I said "for free? sure", and he agreed. I believe he paid $800 to have them done

And thanks fellas

No kids? I guess Austin can't meet up with us

If we make the trip, we will be in Cocoa Beach primarily with trips to Miramar, Naples, and Orlando. Nothing is set in stone but I'll keep all of my FL people updated

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Christmas!

I'm the youngest in the family, so I got my fair share of those jokes lol. Besides life's too short to be hot headed, you have to learn how to laugh sometimes.

Back on topic, Tyler I see you're getting better and better at taking pictures .
