^^^ you can have ACK make em....but i personally feel its tooo expensive.....

you pay $150-175 for the OEM set of tails and another 150 for labor and another 50 for shipping....$350 is definitely more that what I would like to spend on a set of tails....

These identical ones? I don't believe so. The only ones I've seen have been custom made.

Ehhhhhh. The easier route but not nearly as "exclusive".

Not cheap by any means but he does great work. Plus the whole process isn't easy at all. It kicked my ass and Daniel did most of the work

Copied from the thread I created yesterday:

Anil, your math is a little off. I gave him my stock Type S tails and he gave me modded tails for $197. If I had to do it over again I would have just bought the ones from USR or grew some balls and do them myself (with your help of course ) And I think you know the reason why I wouldn't do it again.

Ever consider a trunk or roof lip spoiler?

Trunk spoiler, yes. I want the OEM 04-06 one but it's stupid expensive. Roof spoiler, no.

I like how the top of the car is interrupted from front to back. I feel like the roof spoiler would break that up "flow".

My trunk spoiler is back on...I missed it too much.
Why was Thanksgiving sucky, Ty?

Great rolling shot...looks like your rear camber is actually more corrected than front.
About the tails, I agree...it's overwhelming...I even gave up on it round 1...by I was SUPER proud to have tackled it on my 2nd go.

Your car is one of just a few that rocks the wing spoiler well. The rest I just want to rip off in throw in the pit from 300.

Thanksgiving sucked because my parents and I are the only ones who don't live in FL and we didn't have enough time to make a trip down there. Therefore it was just the 3 of us, meaning mom didn't cook much. It was just like a regular meal

Plus my mom and I butt heads a lot so that's not fun either.

You are correct about the camber! I have the Ingalls camber kit in the rear but nothing up front, resulting in me running about -1.1 in the rear and -1.8 up front.

Those tails kicked my ass. SO many parts once fully disassembled.

Ah, nice catch! Posting at 1am while watching Boardwalk Empire isn't a smart move

And thank you I was wondering what Eric was doing when he kept slowing down. I was like wtf speed up

Yes because you have a Type S....he was giving me $40 for my base tails....so I would have had to pay him $300 and give him my base tails and pay for shipping of the tails to him....

I do have a set of base tails sitting with me....we can try to mod that and probably do another set of tails

He said he will get a DSLR

Yeah, but Ashton condones this one. And he's got that rockin bod. So buy the camera he says!

Tyler, thanks man...I agree, I think it has to do with being low enough and the rear wheels being wide enough to pull off the wing spoiler...on a stock height car it looks a little too pronounced.

About thanksgiving...
well, how about this? Divorced Mom and Dad...so I spend the day rushing to leave Dad's, so he's pissed, then get to Mom's late and she's pissed. Then we have to squeeze Betty's parent's house in too...(lucky they're still together!). It's a day of disappointment and hurt feelings...in a way I kinda wish I could stay in one place, get my buzz on and just chill.

Maybe next year suggest that you make it a bigger deal, maybe invite some close friends (some penguin hos?) and then google how to make a turkey and wow your Mom by doing it yourself.!

But I know what Ty is talking about, he is right
That's was the reason why I first used the lip
But A-Spec at least fills the gap and makes the wing look good
Same with my splash guards, from a distance rear sits straigt from the sides...
help wing to look good a little

With stock look, still flows nicely with the bumper's shape

Glad to see my thread continues on without me

All of my family is in FL and since we will be down in there in about 3 weeks, we weren't going to drive down for Thanksgiving.

MEKO I don't mind the spoiler on your car. I would prefer if you didn't have it but I also realize you didn't purposely add it to your car tomato:

Time to ditch those mudflaps and get moar A-Spec!
