CDM meets ZKW :toocool:

I just got done modding my new set of 2006 CDM (Chinese Domestic Market) Acura TL headlights today.

I'm sure am glad im done! More info and pics here as to how I got ahold of these:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/chinese-domestice-market-cdm-tl-headlights-710375/

But to sum it all up...

Alot of work gets you: Chinese style DRL + TypeS Diffuser + 04-06 integrated fogs + ZKW = all in one very clean package

Better pics to follow after they go on the car later this week

I'll be installing hopefully by wednesday of this week once a set of 06 ballasts come in. 04-05's dont fit as you know.

Sick! You have a CDM car? does it have the stock version of these headlights? Let me know man.

nice job man. I'm still debating on the color matching the RRP vs blacking out, but the ZKW will be worth it for sure.

yes that small bulb is the DRL. I used a 168/194 type PIAA Xtreme White Plus bulb. And it was the biggest pain in the ass to find a plug to fit the socket. I dont ahve any pics of it lit up but will when I post pics of the headlights installed. The plug I used actually came from a Lexus RX300 and its 2'' long lol. Its the only one in the world that will fit (seemligly :P). Too bad the original CDM honda parts arent available in the U.S. !!

I put my CDM's on this weekend, no ZKW though. Awesome looking to say the least, the DRL is wired to my parking lights and are also amber, looks insane when my 3000Ks are on as well. Be prepared to spend some time aiming those fogs.

Post some pics! I check everyday to see what they look like. And did you use the same socket for the daylight running lamp as gerzand?

teasers

Hey all, here some crappy teaser pics I took today. Sorry for all the glare. I'm still waiting on the ballasts to arrive so I cant put the car back together yet!

In HIDs aren't turned on in any of the pics and neither is the flash on the camera, but look at that green and pink color coming off of the ZKW's in the 2nd picture! Amazing!

And the chrome grill I just finished installing. W00t!
