Yeah but what about the reverse light covers, did you paint over those too? I have connections with a shop and this is something I def want to have done. Darksom gets wind of this he'll be in the shop too haha

I guess you could say my emblem is "black chrome" It is chrome but just painted nbp lol

edit: Get rid of that key hole too cause it sticks on like a sore thumb

naw i like the window feature with the keyhole.

i hope not too many people copy my idea on that lol

the reverse lights are not covers, they are part of the whole peice,so i just painted it all,so now i have no reverse lights. well..i do,but they barely glow thru the black. so they are non-functional.

^Thanks! I hope you don't mind if I steal a page out of your book though :o) I was afraid you were going to say you painted over the reverse lights though I need my reverse lights for my rear view camera at night but that ass looks sick!

well u could always tape up the shape of the white part for the reverse lights and paint it,then peel the tape off and clear the whole thing so its nice and sealed in.

then u owuld have the best of both worlds.

ps. thanks again for all the compliments.

Can't wait to see it with the headlights, a-spec kit, and front tints. Going to look sick! Nice setup though!

HEY!!!! Those knobs on the rear shocks got me interested!! I was looking for a reason to buy Megans over Teins and I finally found one......So do you think those knobs will only work with the Megans or can they be rigged to work with the Teins? I know I'm not removing the seat anytime I want to make an adjustment. It's a nice way to save money and not buy EDFC also.

well the knobs on the megans are built onto the top of the shock (but are removable)

the teins and konis require a tool (allen wrench type i believe)

so i dont see them working, basically these knob extenders go over top of the megan knob already on the shock, and bolt down in order for the knob to turn when u turn the extender.

here is a pic for an example.

these knobs are a real help, when i have rear passengers i can make the rear softer so its not a shitty ride for them.

(i dont often ride with rear passengers just my 1 yr old.)

but i like that when i want i can adjust them.
i normally keep them at 16/15 front/rear and that is good enough for me around town and on the freeway.

these knob extenders are an alternative to tein EDFC,drill a small hole and run it to the dampening knob and u can adjust them.

Your knob extender setup looks nifty.

i bought a camber kit but never installed it. my suspensions set at 12 all around but i keep telling myself im going to soften it up and never end up doing it.

i dont know what length the knob extenders were, they were the meduim length..they dont work on teins.

the paint job cost my insurance $6500
