Soooooo. powdercoated my wheels. Then decided to sell them..... At first I wanted to have 2 sets of wheels, but needed the cash for my anniversary.... So after listing them for sale for a week on craigslist, I got no calls. Then listed them here on AZINE... and everyone wanted to see how they looked on the car.



BAD IDEA. They looked so good. I test fit them today. & they sold this evening, NOW I AM SAD. I wanted to keep them. FML

damn...those look REALLY good...I wish I would've had the money to get them. What did the wife think once she saw them on the car?

BTW...what rims are they (specs & offsets, too)...I may have to pick up some down the road

 

That looks awesome! It sucks you had to get rid of them, but I'm sure you will have many more sets down the road

Btw the amber in your headlights clash really badly with the rest of the car, especially with those sick taillights. Clear em out and you will be ballin

 

Love the wheels-sorry you had to sell them. Are the turn signals in your headlights really red? Or is it just the exposure of the photo? Tails look hot too.

 

oh yeah... no worries on the headlights... I am quite a headlight whore.. just a few weeks ago I sold & traded my custom LED headlights for some stock ones + cash.... wait till u see whats next... here are pics of the old headlights :

I really like the color coded headlights. It's a great mono-chromatic look.

It's crazy because i was lookin at a modded E series today and saw the quad tips.. their rear bumper looks sorta like our rear lip and the first thing that popped into my head was to fit a tl-s exhaust with the base rear lip... looks like it's been done...

What color did you get them powdercoated in? I am thinking about powder coating my aspec chrome wheels and was thinking something along the lines of hypersilver/ gun metal..... Also, how much did it cost you?

the guy at concept coating has his own custom gunmetal mix with a sort of pearl overlay. My hook up price was $30 a wheel.(I coated 2 sets of wheels that same color.) But I think Its more like $75-85 a wheel everywhere else.

That's the best headlight setup with LED strips I've seen. Very clean..

edit: are you doing some type of LED eyebrow / lids that's on the new 5/6 series?
