looks like you went with the super-cheap carbon-look vinyl.

If you want a really good looking carbon fiber vinyl you should go with something like this:

I don't think he'd put that on the pillars...or would he? I thought of that, then said...

Where on the dash would it go?

Centercap is where the logo of wheels are placed. Like you you know on OEM TL wheels, where the emblem is in the center? well it is replaceable with a similar sized centercap. and from looking at the OP pics, it looks like he is going to place CF vynle over his centercap I guess. I dunno, just guessing, but those CF strips boggle the mind. I have no idea where this fit, maybe on some random place, on the hood of the car?

Well the teaser is OVER. I was inspired from some mebers of these forums, THANKS FOR THAT. Finally I got this shift knob. It was MAN made, no Computer involved on this. The strips stickers need to more wide I'll be taking them on saturday since they did them wrong. But for now this is my new shift knob, a big piece of aluminum man made, with custom gel stickers of CF and the top. I hope you guys enjoy.

This was a retarded teaser. It was actually a "mis-direction". There's no way to end up with "shift knob" after looking at the initial pic.

Is that a bud light bottle flipped upside down? I've worked on a lathe many many times and made many many shifters.. I would've gotten a little more creative IMO

I've "man" made shifters on a CNC and "man" made shifters on a manual lathe lol depends on your definition of man-made lol hell for all I know it could've been made with 3 trinkets, a block of wood, and a paper clip.

I mean by MAN MADE is that there were no computer involved, just a rotor and my friends making it. There were no numbres in a computer and it making it. That all. Im very happy with the finish product.
