6spdtl-s' progression thread

So I finally decided to start a progress thread (everyone else is doing it!), even though the car is pretty much done with big mods. I just wanted to keep a running list of everything done to it as well as share it with all of you. Most of those on this site for at least a year have probably seen it. Nothing special here, just my daily driver that I wanted to make a bit more sporty.

Here’s a comprehensive list of “mods”:

Nicely done! Any reason why your emblems were so low on the trunk? Did you do that?

I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have planned!

Is the red AP2 yours?

Thats how i bought the car, I have no idea why they were like that. I have debadged since though.

AP2 was mine, I miss it, but bigger and better things are to come!

I had a'03 maxima for my DD with the s2k, but it started eating oil and getting expensive with the maintenance. I fell in love with the 3G tl - my friend with the nbp type s pictured with the s2k let me drive his car a few times. it was downhill from there. It was just too comfortable. s2k was fun, but I cant be driving it like i stole it all the time. highway driving was loud and boring. I'm considering getting a project s2k for cheap and building it up or maybe doing a TT 350z/g35, orrrrrrrrrr saving for a house like I should.

Either way, more pics with the g35 rims coming. should I paint them? they have a good amount of curbage on two of them. keep them silver? gunmetal? black??? I'm undecided.

car looks great... if it were mine I would do 2 more things then call it a day:

1 - remove the rear spoiler (or replace it with a type s lip)
2 - Type S front end + lip

other than that... really nice progress!

removing the rear spoiler would leave holes. Ideally, I'd like to trade trunk lids with someone. I guess I'll post up a WTT thread now....

If i were to get a front type-s bumper plus lip I'd want to do the rear as well. total price for all of that would run quite a bill considering Id have to (read: want to) get a new exhaust and new fogs. Its just not worth it right now IMO. Going to save my money for a house and/or project car.

Saving up for a house FTW.

When it comes to the G35 wheels, which ones are you getting? The staggered Rays 19s or the 18s? Either way I would have them be gunmetal.

Winters are on finally. Well worth the 300 if you ask me. I personally wouldn't be able to tell what kind of rims they are if I saw them on another car.
