07 TL-S NBP: angels, hids, etc.

I'll post more, sorry guys.. Haven't had the time for many photoshoots, but I will post more.

So last night before it started pouring, I swapped my 4300k bulbs to 8000k.
I also included some pictures of my angel eyes i installed 14 months ago.

ENJOY! sorry for the bad quality -_-

I didn't wire it, but I'm sure my guys didn't wire it to the DRL's, I think we had it go directly to the battery. As for my DRL's i took out the fuse, so they wouldnt turn on

If u had it go directly to the battery, wouldn't that still be the same as it being wired to the DRLs? I mean its still going to be always on right? Do u know if there is a way to have them on only during the night when u turn on ur lights at night? Is that even possible?

if you wire them to your drl's they will only be on during the day, drls are turned off when head lights are on so if you want them to be on at night only then wire them to your head lights.

Will they look good w/ the 8000k HIDs at night or better if they were wired as the DRLs? I'm just concerned about the life of these angel eyes...I heard they don't last long if they are wired as the DRLs. Btw, I appreciate the help.

does anyone know what kind of fuse the TLS uses? I want to know if it would be better to change the fuse to have the angel eyes last longer?

you've got a light fetish dont you lol

That front end looks amazing, but the grille is begging for some sort of mod. maybe paint the aluminum parts except the badge black? alot of ppl have done it, and it looks great. or maybe getting rid of it altogether.

Don't worry about the fuse. Most angel-eye failures have been because of bad inverters.

Don't wire them to the DRLs, they only put out 5V not 12V. DON'T think about wiring them to your headlights. They are HIDs remember? If you wire them to your parking lights they will come on and off that way. You can also make them operate on an independent switch with a relay (wire them as you would a fog-light)
