'07 Base Acura TL Progress Thread
Hi members of azine, my name is Dillon and this is my 2007 Acura TL that i got for my 16th birthday. i know i am very lucky to have such a nice car for my first. i am in love with all my car. i treat it like my baby. i hand wash it once a week. i made a thread not to long ago showing my new wheels but i have decided to start a progress thread.
Here are pics the day i picked it up(excuse my cell quality photos)

Here is my with fresh 25% tint on all windows and 15% on back window

The next mod was a Fujita CAI(my favorite mod so far sounds really good)

Then someone offered me a trade for their 04-06 stock wheels which i liked those a lot more

Next little mod was painted brake calipers red

Next mod was the infamous plastidip grill

Alright now this is the best mod new wheels! Bremmer Kraft Br09 18x8 +45 offest

Alright and now im gonna put some pictures up of my brother 2004 mustang gt supercharged and my dad mercedes s550 4matic on 20 inch Mandrus wheels

The mustang gt is in amazing condition for being a 2004. its my brother and I's project car we have done all the work besides the tune. it has 55,000 miles on it and it makes 400hp and 420ft pounds of torque. its a good street car. my brother also just got his 2013 ford focus st with st3 package so i will post up pics of that. i am also getting a stereo system done tomorrow so will update with that.
Thanks for looking! feel free to comment

well the stereo will be next. but after that my plans are to get 15mm spacers up front and 20mm spacers rear. i might also install these eibach pro kit springs i have sitting in my room. the stereo system i will be getting is a jl audio w7 8 inch in a ported box, jl audio 500/1 amp, an then speakers which i dont know what the speakers are going to be
i want to drop it! i have eibach pro kit springs in my room but i want more than a 1 inch drop im thinking maybe tien s tech springs would be perfect for me because im in high school and i go over speed bumps every day. i also have friends in my backseats so the rear will lower with people in the car.
What do you guys think should i install the eibach pro kit to see if i like it or just save my money and get tien s techs or maybe coils?

^^^coming from the guy with s techs already. I had them too, and they give a nice drop. But he's right, coils are the way to go. Keep an eye on the black market and you should be able to find some.
Besides that, nice cars!

^^^^ He is right Tyler! Haha! Shoot i am sitting on teins because of you! I want more of a drop but hey teins are better than stock in my opinion! Good luck with the car and the wheels look good!
thanks for all the comments guys! i really want to get coils as well, but being a high school student its hard to get that kind of money! i also want to get modded headlights later down the line and of course aspec kit but thats going to be awhile. CLtotheTL32 your car is incredible looking by the way, im jealous of your gunmetal aspec wheels!
Thanks man! It won't be until summer but I hope you attend the National Meet! Moderator Steven Bell organizes it and it's a lot of fun. I made the drive from Raleigh, NC to Kansas City last summer and it was well worth the drive!

Tyler is right though-Jay Wolfe Acura in Kansas City is where we hold the meet. Where in Kansas are you?
Ok will do! Do you know anyone thats around overland park? I would like some help installing my eibach springs, i need someone with a spring compressor i dont have one and my bro is use to working on mustangs we dont really even know where to start for the suspension on my car lol thanjs steven!
heres a little update! i finally got my sub and amp. i ended up getting a jl audio w7 8 inch sub in a toyota tacoma stealth box(it was the cheapest option) and the amp is a diamond audio tx black and can put out 1100 watts of power! it hits so hard but yet is so crisp and nice. ok enough talking onto the pictures of the trunk

Very nice TL love that color!! One of my favorites available on a 3G and would have been cool to offer on the Type S. I like how you have kept the car clean and simple and haven't done any of the goofy things like off enter mounted front plate, window visors, purple lugnuts, lol that kinda shit. Keep it up, car looks awesome.
