I do have a set, but they were never technically for sale. Now that the TL is gone and have no use for them other than put them on the fiances explorer. I'd be curious as to what they look like on there.

I know for a fact at least some Explorers use 5x114 with an offset around 40mm. What year Explorer does your fiance have?

Too funny, the 2014 was the only Explorer I was sure of.

little details sets it apart. $10 for a set of Center caps. Just looks a bit more high end than faded black caps lol

Maintenance.....

Cleaned out air intake and replace hose. It was completely cracked and ripped on the back side. Now I know why my RPMs would drop randomly at stopping.

Smh

Tightening back up

Spark Plug Maintenance.

I had a misfire at idle intermittently. Determined it wasn't a vacuum leak. #5 plug was all the way loose. #3 was damn near impossible to get out. Had my son help out.....

Moved sway out the way

Before cleaning

Didn't have removal issues

Some plugs very squeaky coming out 🤢

Son pulling out back plugs for me 😁

🤨

Yeah I'm keeping this one. Changing those plugs original to the car makes it almost feel brand new, just ordered rear shocks this week to replace. They are busted in the rear. After this I am going to tackle front end suspension. this is
@truonghthe my 3rd MRP Type-S. As a matter of fact the one I bought and did timing belt service from MD is dead. They killed the engine and then called to let me know they did and said thanks it was a great car. WTF lol

What do you mean they kill the engine? like purposely damage the engine? that kinda dumb.

Anyway keep us updated with this MRP TL, your MRP and my MRP is the twin lmao, get a KBP so we can be double twin.

Rear Shocks & End links

Monroe off Partsgeek. $71 a piece & Moog Endlinks $35 a pop. Didn't intend on Endlinks but had to cut mine off due to rust and hex hole roundind off.

They had foam behind tape

Rusted & Busted

Had to dremel

I'd say I wasted 3hours just trying to take these off with the hex....smh. If its rusted just CUT them OFF and keep it moving.

Easy to cut out bolt

Moog very easy to install. Just set a 19mm ratchet as leverage.

Feel very tight and strong

Got her in

Nice, dude...
how is it sitting?
I threw a set of those ready to install sets into my girl's old van and it lifted the front up a ton...which annoyed me.

Looks to be sitting at OE ride height to me. I was nervous because it says could take some time to adjust and settle springs but overall I am very pleased.
