Busy Weekend-winterized Mom's 1 yr old car, debadge, leather treated, Xmas Tree

Its been a great 5days off. I decided to tackle a few things. First I detailed my moms accord. Washed, clayed, sealed, vacuum the works...she only wanted to pay me 5$ and hour....i would have made 25$ but i did it for free here are the before and afters...

AFTER

Then I Debadge my rear end. Got so excited i forgot to take before pictures....here are the results tho... BTW i wet sanded and polished only half the bumper and boy does it look better than brand new....look how good you can see my pants!

Then I started on treating the leather. I need to get better pictures but i think you can see the difference....Using Leather Honey...so far so good. Will do the other side tomorrow. only did passenger side seat and door.....for now

Then i finished up with putting up xmass with my pregnant wife....

Busy couple of days....But it was fun....

What do people think of the debadged rear end? My brother inlaw said i should do the TLS as well....thoughts??

+ 1 on the manual tranny. That was the first thing I had noticed too lol. Nothing beats rowing your own gears.

Also, what did you use to clean that engine bay? May need to do that to mine when Spring comes along.

I need to drive up to Loveland one of these days… spring maybe? I am not allowed to drive my car in the snow, which totally sucks out here.

By the way what products did you use on the Accord exterior/engine bay? It looks great– nice work!

Everything but the A. Leaving the "type s" looks tacky and uneven IMO. But that's just my opinion. Also congrats on the baby. She looks around 7-8 months? Hope it comes out healthy brotha!

Nice work sir! If you wanted to take it one step further, remove the TL and leave the Type-S badge where it currently is

Congrats on having the little one soon! What is the expected due date?

Thanks everyone for the comments! My wifes due date is Dec 16th but according to our last doctor appointment she thinks it will happen this week! yikes....

For those who asked what did i use on my moms car here is what i use.

Adams Car wash
Sonax full effect wheel cleaner
Orange degreaser on the engine with various brushes
Finished up the engine bay with adams in and out spray and VRT
after claying the car i rinsed and dried it. Decided not to polish any of the scratches out since it is winter now and she does alot of high driving
then i used Menzerna Power lock sealant on the paint. Let it dry for 1-2hrs then buffed off.
Inside was vacuumed whiped down with soapy water and a rag then used Meguiar's quick interior
Finished up the windows with rainx sealant....going to try wolfs glass gaurd next time....

Congrats on the baby. I'd remove the TL and reposition the Type-S to the bottom corner of the trunk.

nicee do you just spray the degreaser, let it sit.. scrub away then spray it all down with the Adams in and out spray?

any water or compressed air dry afterwards?

Pretty much thats it. I would we down the engine really well first then use your favorite degreaser. I let it dry before i use the in and out spray.... you can use compressed air i dont just bc i dont have a big enough air compressor. Power washer would be nice too but i also dont have one....yet
