honestly, I think that it looks better this way, however do you think it would be possible to do two of this hks exhausts instead of one, pointing out the same way? I dont think it looks good with just one, it looks very bair on the left side of the car.. dunno comptech is going to be just fine for me..

You should paint the rear to match the front

Make sure they use mandrel bent fittings or they mandrel bend the pipe. You don't want crush bends.

ACCURATEin - You know, everytime I see new pics of your car I have to shake my head. The first time I saw it was on 85 one night back when you still had the black lip thing on the front...it looked clean and sounded nice (cat + cai). Then the CF hood showed up...I'm not a fan of these, but with the new paint job definitely ...I agree with cTLgo, you should paint the rear to match. But the fin things on the front and this exhaust? Sorry, you lost me. Did you consider having it come out straight and/or dualing it? I know this wouldn't be "deviating from the norm," as it would look like the CT, but still...

Anyway, not going to dwell on what I don't like as my opinion means and overall, your car is pretty sweet. Would love to see some daytime pics from all angles to really see all that's going on...hard to tell from all of those pics taken at 7th Street Station (?) at night. I'd like to hear the new exhaust, too...a couple of other people have posted sound bytes...I think they taped the car driving/having the gas stomped while parked and posted the film...you could also just post the sound to the film as well, I believe.

aGenKa... I video clip would be neat. We can either meet up and you can run the clip or tell me how to do it. It doesn't matter. If you would like to hear it in person i'll be glad to rip it up for you, just let me know when.

CL Platano... I didn't place in the acura category. Too many DC2s and DC5s. It's hard to compete in the same category with those cars because there are an abundance of aftermarket performance and cosmetic products available for them. I'll just have to wait a little bit before i can begin to place.

cliff... It was good to meet you at IAS. I forgot to take a picture of your TL. Thanks for the nice words man.

black_tl... Are you referring to the matte black on the front bumper? Thanks for the comment.

Lokius... haha most people hate those canards. I actually cut my thumb the other week when i was drying the car off.

cTlgo... I have thought about painting the rear to match the front. I would rather opt for a carbon fiber trunk, but maybe ill just paint the trunk. Who knows. I take it you arent fond of the angled exhaust?! haha.

SEMA IAS was pretty cool. It was my first time to NJ. You guys dont have self car washes up there do you?! I drove around for over an hour looking and never came across one. I met a few people from the forum, everyone was pretty cool.
I have a lot of pictures if anyone wants to see them. I'll post them up when i get back to the other computer.

It's a CF hood...comes in that color. He did paint the sides white, though...in older pictures, you can see the entire hood is black. Painted the bumper to continue the look down the front...I'm not a fan of everything he's done, but the hood/bumper look good. Everyone has their own opinion, though...

well the cf trunk will definetly have to be custom, maybe ViS can help you, but they take FOREVER. Quickest way would be paint until you get the trunk

Def not fond of the angle exhaust, but its your car, whatever you like

Lokius... To answer your question, yes i like the canards. From certain angles they're strange looking, but for the most part they're pretty neat. I can take some pictures of the painted calipers in the daylight if you want. Maybe i'll do that tomorrow.

CCColtsicehockey... Do we have to get those Synpower decals custom made or are they going to send us some? I haven't received anything other than the jersey.

notcreative... I see you're organizing a charlotte area meet. I'm sorry to say i will be out of town that weekend. But you'll definitely hear the exhaust sometime.

I found a few photos of the TL from SEMA IAS. You can see me standing behind the car in the autoimportcraze photo. If anyone would like to see photos of other cars from the show let me know. Also, I have the Sun Auto Hyper Voltage kit mounted in the engine bay. Maybe i'll take a close up shot of that along with the calipers.

i was referring to shooting a video clip from my digicam similar to the one that was shot of the comptech exhaust earlier this yr...the sound quality isn't great but it'll defintely give peopel an idea of your car and i have a stock tl so we could do a comparision

anyways i live south of charlotte off of 485 near the rea rd and rt 521 exit

i work by charlotte coliseum so if you want to meet up near either place just let me know

hey bro, with that cf hood you lose function of the hydraulic pieces that hold it up?? you have a spring holding the hood open so im very curious before i invest in one. because, well that would suck. BTW, she looks great!

XjoEnX... The Hydraulic hood dampers can work with the carbon fiber hood. I have just been too lazy to install them! TEIN also makes hood dampers as well. Thanks for the compliment.

aGenKa... Thanks for taking time out of your day to run this video clip. It was good meeting you.

Thanks Dat. Your setup is probably louder than mine being that you extracted the resonator.

Believe it or not, It might appear in the clip that i'm driving a 6MT, but I actually drive the 5AT. haha.

AGenKa took me for a ride in his 6MT and that thing shifts smootly. I could hardly tell when he was shifting.
