Long story short... My brother had this TL and ran it low on oil, intstead of fixing it he went and got himself an 07 Corvette and I reap the benefits of getting a TL handed down to me
I got tried of trying to steal my civic so I sold it and used the money to put a new engine in the TL. So in all reality i paid 2,000 dollars for the TL. Had it for a couple months now and now the transmission is starting to slip.
Went from this:
To This:
Current mods:
- Tein SS Coilovers
- 20' KMC whatever they are called rims
Future Mods:
- 6spd Transmission Conversion
- 07-08 Front Bumper Conversion w/ fogs
- 07-08 Rear Bumper Conversion
- 07-08 Side Mirrors
- Type-S Tail Lights
- Type-S Smoked Rear Side Markers
- Rotora BBK
- A-Spec Lip Kit
- Lip Deck Spoiler
Parts On Deck:
- OEM Deck Lip (Brand New) = $70.99
- OEM Mug Guards = $51.00
- OEM 07 Base Front Bumper = $170.00
- OEM 07 Driver Side Mirror = $70.00
- New Radiator = $142.52
- New Hood Lifts = $35.90
Apparently I can not edit the original post..

Very nice for a hand down!! It looks good, all ya gotta give it is a little bit of TLC!! You will find a lot of help here with your transmission problem. I like the wheels. Enjoy it!

I keep seeing Base TL's without Aspec Kits. I think they should have come standard...

So, I decided to install the factory navigation system into my TL and yesterday when I was searching for parts. I found a guy that was parting out an 04 TL w/ Navi. I hopped in my car and drove 2 hours south and helped him pull out the parts I needed out of a donor TL he purchased to repair another TL he had that rolled over.
Initially, I purchased a 04 Navi Screen and radio 3 days ago and it came with the pigtails, But couldn't pass up these parts.. Paid a total of $1,190
Navi Parts
- Two 04 Navi Screens
- Two GPS Antenna
- Two DVD Drive Brackets
- Two Navi Guide Switch
- 6 Disc Radio (no code, FML)
- Information Display Screen
- Complete Floor Harness
- Complete Dash Board Harness
- Complete Roof Harness
- Trunk Liner
- Orange Disc
- Pioneer XM Radio Module
...& The day gets better, Since it took us forever to pull the parts, instead of driving back to Orlando, I drove to my fathers house in Ft. Lauderdale and found my old skateboard (That I thought someone stole, about a year ago).. && When I got back to orlando, the people at Tippmann came through and sent me the part i needed to fix my marker..
