I love the stockies in black, but only if the whole thing is blacked out (lugs, center cap also). Kinda like defeats the purpose (TO ME) if you have them shining and the wheel is blacked out like that. Nice finish on them though. Good job!

thanks for the love... and yea i know the wheel area is not completely blacked out. i havent decided what i want to do with the center caps yet, so i didnt want to mess with them until i knew what was going to happen. and black lugs might be in the future, for now i just went with the stock ones so i could at least get the wheels on.

if the centercap is a sticker like the 2nd gen center caps you can take an exacto knife and trace the acura symbol, remove the sticker off from around the symbol,paint, then peel away revealing a silver acura sign from the center of your black wheels...

if i wanted to wetsand a little, what would be the best way with these wheels? btw, i put on 3 coats of duplicolor black and 2 coats of clear. i dont want to do too much, just a little to give the paint a little smoother look and maybe a tad more shine.

finally got a chance to wash the damn thing. looks a lot better imo. i know some of you like the old wheels better... too bad, theyre gone
