XLR8 Non-Res Quad Install

Hey Guys,

Installed my quad last thursday...but have some questions...

My set up right now is, XLR8 J-pipe->XLR8 HFC->XLR8 Quad Non-Res....Didn't seem like there were any leaks, but will verify this evening...

Anyway, everything fit great but I'm wondering if I should have used high temp silicone especially after the Y split where the clamps are used...and if so, where to apply?

Just seems very loud especially on the passanger side muffler (but that could be also since it's closer to the whole exhaust)

Thanks

No there is no need to apply high temp silicone to the slip fit sections.

Morning,

I re-adjusted one of the clamps as it wasn't where it was supposed to be and a lot of the noise went away.

Once this rain goes away, I'll take some pictures and videos.

I have a 06 (same body as yours) and I went with the A-SPEC kit (checkout the groupbuy in the 3G Main Page.)

You'll need to get the 07-08 type-S rear lip. (but get the 04-06 front and side skirts)

It will require some cutting, but definitely worth it!

Sorry it took so long...

So I initially went with the NON RES
LOVED IT, but a little too loud...

Here is a video
