i have a 2006 tl and was wondering where i can find oem-fit brake caliper upgrades, i saw ones that said acura on them and were all painted. wondering if anyone knows where to buy?

 

Those are factory acura brembos found in All type S models and six speed TL models only.

 

You can find 'em, but you can also go aftermarket.

 

I was just about to post a thread about this. Ive been dying to get those Acura brand calipers, and i did notice they were mainly on TL-S models. Is this something I can get at my dealer??

 

yes but i believe someone was selling them on the black market section of the forums. used but much cheaper than buying from a dealership.

 

^Yes! They also came on the base 6-m/t, for the years '04-'06! Many have done this upgrade, but it does get costly through the dealer. I have not totaled it, but from what I have read, for that price you could get aftermarket (Wilwood, Racing Brake, Rotora,etc...). There are many threads on this, and some if not most(?) setup's fit under the stock 17" rims!

 

You should totally get these new fromthe dealer. All you need is the caliper.

 

iv painted my own (white) ordered it from the internet brand is G2 but autozone/pepboys is cheaper just dont have white all come in a brush kit looks professional no one thought i did it myself... have pics in my garage also orderd high temp vinal acura decals for them for like $2.00 cost me like $50 but like $15 at autozone check out my pic tell me what yall think...
