XLR8 new version mufflers sweet!

I just wanted to drop a line and let everyone know who is considering buying the newest version of XLR8 mufflers with there new in cabin noise reducing technology they are deffinately worth it!!!! What a difference!!

The in cabin noise now is virtually gone now!!! It is so nice not hearing all the drone, very big change and the sound outside the car sounds just as sweet if not better! I have to figure out how to get sound clips up and shows these things off! For those of you who want an awesome sounding TL but still want to have conversation inside your car and listen to your music its deffinately the way to go!

Thanks Josh (excelerate) for all your help!

I am on my way home in a few minutes I can get some pics up and I will see what I can do about a sound clip but I will have to find a friend to hold the camera for drive buys...

This new design is a serious PLUS for anyone who wants a great sound but no drone.

Give me a few guys

This is just a short one I shot with my phone.

I will try to get some drive by and in cabin sounds... in cabin is great really the noise level is almost stock.

since you referenced cabin noise reduction, did you have the old mufflers and then changed them out?

yea i had the old version but had a deffect in the muffler which i notified josh right away about and i had purchased them back in janurary right before they released the new version...

the old version sounded good but man the drone was something to get used to...

since i pretty much bought the last old version he decided to switch them out for the new version and man what a difference.... first hand experience its night and day.... and actually outside noise is better than old version.

yea same look as before except the logo... I can visually see the design difference in tbhe muffler itself before it had baffles and now its a straight through flow design... drone is all but gone...

I was the test vehicle for the Non Type S 3G. I wonder if I could just purchase the new mufflers and switch my old ones out? Newer is always better.

this needs to be looked into as i have the original non-res quad tip for my tl-s and i'm about to just scrap it because the drone is so bad. if the mufflers can be just swapped out for the newer ones, then, price dependant, i'll switch. who's the xlr8 rep on the site so we can get this answered?

i cant really comment on that but the new design of the XLR8 exhaust has almost any in cabin noise just a huge difference from the original design.
