Xlr8 Exhaust

Hey everyone! I have the xlr8 dual quad exhaust system and I was trying to install it myself. It's shouldn't be hard cause I work on my car a lot so I know what I'm doing. But when I was trying to all of the parts of the exhaust I couldn't mount one of it. For some reason it look like it wouldn't fit through the pipe. Does anyone a pics of how to mount it? It will help me a lot.

do you have pictures?

generally speaking you do not fit the exhaust through or into another pipe. one will have to remove the original and replace it with the new one.

In the first picture the longer side went through like it suppose to but then in the next two pics the short side wouldn't fit through the pipe. It's the xlr8 dual quads exhaust system. It come with it own pipe.

Hey Pride96,

Sorry to hear it's giving you some trouble! The slip fit joints can get closed up a little bit between packing and shipping but the issue you're having definitely looks like it can be resolved! If you can open up the end of that pipe (the muffler section) then that should slide right over the y piece and you should have no issues!

Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions, let me know how it works out for you!

Good luck!

it's cuz they arent "installers" just a parts store. No parts store will do it.

Excelerate is different, as they are a "garage" and have knowledgable installers.

Dude find a muffler shop and ask them to open it a bit for you if you don't have the tools for it.
