WOW!! Just finished My E-Shift Cats

Just finished up with the install of the E-Shift Cats. I only got to take it down the road, but WOW!! Big difference!! I am going to give it a couple weeks and get it on the dyno and post the results. I have to go to bed right now, but I am going to do a write up on the install itself as well as parts and tools needed. Sorry no pics, to busy installing to take pics. I did the install by myself and it only took 4 hours, not to bad. This is a great mod and would suggest to anyone looking for more power!! Great bang for the buck!!! The next part to the thread will have the write up.

Would you say the gains are more over than the CAI with the Cats?? I would buy it but I still think coughing out $1000 plus for performance cats are a bit expensive. But again if the cats do lay down some really good #'s to back up then the cost won't look so bad.

A dyno would be great to see!!

There is a much better gain with the Cats then with the CAI. The torque is nice!! I will be getting it dynoed and posting the results, I just want to give the ECU time to program itself.

Always good to hear consistent results on products. The cats sound like they are sweet but out of my range for now. Some one else posted that another place could do these for maybe a fraction of the price. Would be nice to see that. But i think ima stick with the smaller more basic stuff for now..until I hit the lottery

You really can't beat the quality of these products. For someone to build an item of this quality for less would be hard. The cats are stainless steel and the piping used is as well. They are PRETTY!! And weigh a good bit less then the factory ones. If you want to add power, save up and get these!! Great add on

I still have the stock exhaust, and I really don't notice any difference in the sound. The car seems to idle smother as well. I ordered them from Mike at E-Shift. They where running 1099.99 when I ordered mine.

There really is no sound difference. With the factory exhaust on it it still remains quite.

I did use all three. There are no sensors on the rear cat, so you don't have to use the rear cat if you didn't want to. You could just put a test pipe in its place.

My set should be here Friday!! Cant wait.... About your part list. I am having a new cat back system made at the same time he (custom muffler shop) is installing the new E-Shift Cats. Do you think I should get the parts from your list or call him or just go to the dealer first and buy them? Seems to me he might have the parts "on hand"....

They are honda parts, I doubt that a muffler shop whould have them on hand. The 2 upper gaskets are only for the head that is on the TL and Accord(I think), that lovely cast Head with manifold. You need to go ahead and order them ahead of time as these are not part's the dealer keeps in stock. Good luck and you will love the cats.

I am sorry but I have not had time yet. I work a co-op and a normal full time job. So I work 7 days a week and about 70-75 hours. Plus softball on Sunday nights. I am trying to get some time to do it.
