A wise person once told me "DONT START OR YOU WILL REGRET IT"

Well I just started and the only thing I regret is my bank statements. It depends on what you are looking for. I figured the TL has enough power for me right now so I decided to go for looks first then performance.

Start with a cold air intake system made by AEM, Fujita, or Injen. Thats cheap...and you will notice a difference right away.

Now from there....that would be up to you...skys the limit really.

You could also do an underdrive or lightweight stock crank pulley, which is fairly cheap too....fact is...I would recommend them both.

Progress Rear Sway Bar Plus H&R Sport Springs just as soon as the Intake and Pulley are installed. You gotta handle that extra power.

The performance pulley is a replacement of the stock pulley. The performace pulley weighs about 1.5 lb vs. the stock weighs ~7.9 lb. It doesn't create more power; it just gets more existing power to the wheels. Get your new pulley in stock diameter (vs. 'underdrive' diameter) to avoid underdrive (electrical underpowering) on your audio system.

You can see pix of my pulley and RSB here (Hey moderators! Link doesn't underline!). Don't forget Bearcat's suggestion of the Progress rear sway bar and the H&K sport springs! And put your sway bar on 'stiff' setting!
