UR Crank Pulley and Comptech S/C

Just wondering, since those who will be getting the S/C who will probably order the crank pulley, what belt would we need to use?

I dunno but I also raised the question previously about whether the crank pulley will raise boost issues because the crank pulley makes your accessories spin slower and I dont know if the S/C will spin slower and you will lose boost. I am getting the S/C and I have the Pulley that I am putting on tomorrow.

In order to raise boost you get smaller pulleys. just FYI

That is on the S/c though. If you Get the aftermarket pulley by Ur then yor accessories will be spinning slower. I think that means the S/C pulley will spin slower so i dont know if thats a good way to go. Please correct me if im wrong.

The way you can tell if you accessories will spin slower is this. If the Ur pulley has a larger diamater than the stock pully- then the accessories WILL spin SLOWER. If its smaller then they will spin faster. Same concept with a Supercharger.

Good questions. So what is the crank pulley size you can use when using the S/C?

I believe you have it backwards. Since in your example, UR pulley=larger gear. Accessories=smaller gear. Larger gear makes smaller gear turn faster.

However, the UR pulleys are smaller in diameter thus UR pulley=smaller gear driving the larger accessory gears, thus accessories will run slower but not by much.

You don't want to use the UR pulley with the SC. It will cause you to lose boost. Its a noticable amount of lose also. If you ask UR nice I'm sure they will make a stock diameter crank for the TL to use with the SC. They did it for us accord and second gen acura owners.
