Hello all! I have a 6 speed manual base model 04 TL aspec. I’m wanting to get get a KTuner or Hondata Reflash, or really anything to tune my car. As of right now I just have a straight piped exhaust and intake on it. I’ve heard you can only tune Type S models. If so, is it ok to swap my base ecu for a type s?

 

You actually have an Acura TL Sport, not base. Im not sure about Ktuner, but your able to tune the car with Hondata by geting a conversion harness, Any 07-08 ECU(Base model included), and 1 wire(all sold at Helltoe Auto), and be able to tune it just like an 07-08' model TL.
