tunning
Ok smarty maybe try to search and you will see that there is really no way of tuning these cars that has been discovered yet. Some people have try piggyback systems but results are inconclusive. What makes you think you need tuning? What parts are on your car?

Hey guys.. I was at a meet on Tues, and word is that Hondata is releasing a tune for 3rd gen soon.. I heard it from somebody whos friend knows somebody at Hondata.. So I dont know how much validity this has.. But maybe some hope for us in the near future..

Fricken A right...they better!
built motor block and head done cams pulley bolt ons bigger injectors bigbore throttle and port and polished intake maniflold and runners and helix tb spacer and outlaw spacer
the only thing hondata has said specifically is that they will NOT release a N/A reflash. go with an AEM FI/C if you want, i just added that to get more fuel out of the injectors.
who's girlfriends uncles cousins son did you hear this from? don't hold your breath, go for other tuning options i.e. aem...

"Built Motor Block" - What exactly did you do? What kind of pistons? You bore it out? Explain please?
"Head Done" - What all did you do to the head? Change springs, lifters, valves? You did cams, what kind? How many does a SOHC have?
Where you abel to play with anything other than the injectors?
these exact words have been out since 2005, hondata only does S/C stuff brought to them only by shawn at church's tuning on a 1 by 1 basis at a arm/leg cost. It's not on their site...
also forgot to add:
be careful with N/A, hondata who has experience and spent nearly 2 years messed around with a few stock and lightly modded N/A TL's. They found they could make the TL (with the factory ECU reprogrammed) on the Dyno make more power, but on the streets it ran like shit, literally. That's why they stopped development and the trial tunes that can never be found again only raised the RPM limit and removed the governor (to the last of my knowledge)
