Arrow e-managment tunning

Well I just finished relocating the battery today, probally a little bit overkill but I only wanted to do it one time. Will post pics later today of the completed project. Anyways, Monday the car goes in to have body kit, suppercharger, cooling mods, new plugs, tranning cooler, intercooler, and e-managment installed. They said it would be ready in two weeks. God I can't waint....I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas day....lol. So I started calling around today to get an apointment to have a bench mark Dyno tested and possible tunning done when it's all done. A couple of the shopes keep asking if anyone had run this same set up and if so did they have any of the tunning numbers that anyone could send me so we could use them and save a little time. You can E-mail me at: Foreveraflboy@yahoo.com. Thank you all in advance. Clinton

who serge if so, trust me he has maps without the s2k injectors. I used his basemap when they first tuned my car. If you are talking about the dude whom started the thread, i must have overlooked where he had s2k injectors.

no, I meant serge, but now that I think of it I'm sure he has "base" maps for all kinds of setups.

I don't know to be honest. Possible. I'm sure you will have to make some changes though as I would think the motor would be getting a little extra fuel, and more timing is taken out. Shoot him a pm. He's a cool guy.

No, it's for boosted cars. On the second thought, if you uncheck a "Boost Cut" feature (MAP voltage) you can use one but tuning is requred on the DYNO for your specific needs. However, there won't be much of a benefit for NA to justify the cost (main unit+PnP harness+tuning) since you won't be able to increase timing. You can try less expensive SAFC II on NA, the one that keeps VTEC untouched and controls the air flow and fuel curve resulting in better AFR. Boomslang also has harnesses for all Apexi units.

02av6 - you can't touch timing at all w/ ultimate or regular? i'm n/a but have the 3.5L and have cams in the works. but if timing can't be adjusted, than a simple AFR tune is all i can do, and your right apexi unit would be better.

you cn only do timing retard with regular emanage unit, and the timing advance hasn't been proven/disproven to work yet with the ultimate.

As far as I know timing can not be advanced; only retarded. Therefore the e-manage was not very productive on the N/A set up. I'm not sure about using the Ultimate with a N/A set up. I'm not sure that has been tested yet.

I agree. I'd go with UniChip or maybe try out the TEC3

Yep, no timing advance with a Blue unit and so far was unsuccessful with installed Ultimate on johntypeS NA auto CL-S . Ultimate is more complicated and advanced and I need time to look at it again. One thing I have a good PnP harness, so will look into one within couple of months.

sold the unichip bc theres no good tuners for it in a 150 miles radius.

tec3 would suck bc of no available harness. =[

good god what did I get myself into...lol Guess this will definetely be a learning experience. Hopefully I don't screw this up. Just didn't think it would be difficult. Figured just hook up the E-managment, disconnect EMS, dyno and done. I sure wish there was someone close who could help me with this so I don't screw it up.
