ESM and E-Manage compatible?

I think I'm going to be unhooking my ESM.
Here are some of my thoughts that I also e-mailed to Scalbert.

"I was just shifting my fuel map around on the Greddy E-Manage tool. I was also checking out the timing and modified that also. Anyway, I was thinking about the comptech esm module, which is installed in the harness ahead of the E-Manage. Jsut curious, but if the esm is clamping the voltage at 2.65, won't this throw all of the E-manage system adjustments out the window? If I understand the system, the E-manage uses the voltage off of the device that the esm is clamping to make the fuel and timing adjustments?"

So off I go to cut and solder some wires .

Yep, definitely remove that ESM. But we already covered this in PM.

Once again, thanks for bringing it up.

Let me know how it works out.

Be sure to use the live data reading with the E-Manage and watch the additional injection and ignition values. Data logging would be nice for analysis as well.
