torque probs...s/c'd

yea well theres a really really really bad problem with my car i'm like well lets start out with how i knew something was wrong...i'm s'cd and i lost to a 6spd g35 with an intake...i'm like ok something is wrong...so that had me pissed...so i decided to go to get the car dyno'ed to see what kind of power i'm making ok well i'm making 270 whp and 208 lb/ft...good for a s/c tl with exhaust, pulley and procats...lol yea right...so i'm like ok we do one more pass and its 271 whp and 200lb/ft...so we decided to look at the graph the hp..it is smooth but the torque is like goin up in steps..and i'm not gettin the full 4.5 lbs of boost until i get into higer rpms...so mike at e-shift perfor. told me that i most likely have a bad torque converter..

so what do u guys think...is tha torque converter the problem...and if i want to replace it can i juss go ahead and get a new one or do i have to buy the whole set up...when i say the whole set up i mean to the bolts, and o-ring washer the labor is about $900 from the dealer...and i kno some people might ask..its and auto 04 tl

has anyone else had this type of prob..

everything that is listed from this site http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray...=All&vinsrch=no

i kno i have it posted 2 places...but no 1 seems to be replyin it in the problems sections..wanted to try here

^Yeah I wanted to get to that that's why I mentioned dyno, it might be fuel/air related like with some other guys who had power deficit with SC-engine running too lean or too rich, bad injector, intake air leak Any CELs, surge, how is the car driving? The more info you give the better! Also do a search, there is a lot of info out there in archive, I'm sure you'll find it useful.

Mike knows he's stuff but I don't think the torque converter is the culprit though!

well mike said that the air/fuel was good...he was lookin at the guage i have and he hooked up another one..and both was about 11.2.....no CEL's...the reason he said it was the TC...because its not a smooth line...and it doesnt keep goin up...i 4got at what rpm it was that the torque line started to drop off...i believe it was at about 70 mphs i have about 218lbs/ft and then it drops down to to 200lbs/ft

that's odd, I make right around the same ball park....... I'd say about 287whp.. against a G35 with exhaust it's no match for mine....
I've had the blower in since last march....
