its the simplest mod you'll ever do

follow the video.
plus, you could come to the conclusion that it is the same by looking and comparing from the video

Do you guys think it would be possible to make this install by not taking off the bumper but removing the battery and wheel well cover? When i bought my old TL it already had a CAI installed but now have a Type S. Whenever i needed to clean my filter I always just took the wheel well cover off as well as the one directly bellow it.... (way easier than taking off the bumper) No one ever talks about this but can it be done?

whatever is easiest for you.

this is the best advice for working on cars.
you need to be able to figure out the best and easiest way to do things.

and let me tell you, its pretty damn simple to take off the front bumper.

with the time to remove the battery you could remove the bumper. If you already have the resonator removed its easier. You have to remove the bumper to take the resonator out though its impossible

It will save you a lot of time and frustration to take the bumper off.
