WOW...this thread took a turn, didnt it?
Son....your 18 years old....its the internet. Wise up. It happens.
No need for telling people to fuck off.
On that note...perhaps you should consider suicide? (I'm kidding totally)
Just lighten up man! Its all good! But you HAVE to understand...not everybody is going to like what one does to a car and trust me when I tell you, they are more than willing to tell you all about it. Its bait greatly. Let it roll off your back....its done. Respond the wrong way....you have yourself a hate fest instantly.
Just a tip from an old man!

I personally would do stage 1 for my TL. Stage 2 at most. I think most of us would agree that Acura really underdid our factory exhaust. I have a 6MT myself and I can barely hear my car when I drive.
Whether you are 18 or 48, there is no reason to spend hundreds on a exhaust system to gain that extra 5-10 HP and shave off 0.2 sec off 1/4 mile.
I think it's a good cheap mod to make your factory exhaust sound a little sportier like the Infiniti G.

I dont mean to hate.
this is my point of view.
why buy 100 dollars worth of stuff that doesnt produce anything but sound.
it also comes back to the adage of; if you're going to do something, do it right the first time.
Even if you're not a go fast type of guy, I bet a cat back sounds a lot better than the stage mods.
Its expensive because Vendors are putting in R&D into their product. They want to be compensated for it.
Here's a trick, know what you want in an exhaust, or learn the components in what you want. With the internet its easy to borrow ideas and learn. for example you'll need to know how you want the piping, the diameter is best, what type of muffler etc.) and go to an exhaust shop. Especially one that specializes in Honda/Acura's, and they'll hook you up with an exhaust system anywhere from $250-400.
Thats hell of a lot cheaper than Ahem the vendors on here.

Idk... I know it's all a matter of opinion, but I haven't heard an exhaust tone that I like better than what "Stage 3" has given me. Sounds simple. Mildly aggressive. And it was relatively inexpensive in comparison to other options that I had on the table. As an owner who has no need for any additional high-end power, it fit the bill.
exactly how i feel about mine. if i wanted power i would have invested in a RWD car. i kept with stage 2 for the sportiness without being too aggressive and attracting too much peoples attention. I just want my car to look good and add just a tad of noise to go with it. although lately with all these turbo breakthrough numbers.....
Of course this is all a matter of opinion. I'll stick with my tasteful aesthetic mods for now and after I buy a house I'll get my track rat.
Damn kid....you got raped. My Stage 3 cost me $110 and that cost included the Dynomax resonator.
