Need some input on next mod. Been sitting here itching to add something to my stock TL-S was thinking exhaust (atlp quad) resonated w atlp v2 j-pipe maybe w the high flow cat if nessary? Or cheaper route just do p2r spacer w intake?

people say the p2r throttle body spacer is a complete waste of money and does not benefit our car at all.

someone even said that they dynoed the car after installing it, and it actually lost hp.

as for the cold air intake, i also heard that the stock intake is just fine, and you're better off spending the ~$300 towards a j-pipe. j-pipe is one of the best bangs for the bucks performance wise for the TL.

i managed to get my hands on a cai for $165 so i bought it anyways. i knew the gains would be little, but i got a cai for nearly $100 off retail price, somewhat adds "under the hood" appeal, and actually makes the car sound nicer during vtec (didn't buy it for the sound, but ended up really liking it for the sound)

atlp quads + any jpipe is better than CAI + p2R TBS anyday....

 

yea i just installed CAI and my next mod is going to be the exhaust.

PCD>Jpipe>HFC>V2 Quad. That is my set up. Gotta save now lol

Aspec lip kit definately first and then some performance mods. Maybe some new wheels and drop the car a bit?
