Throttle Body needed...
Throttle Body needed...
So my TL has been giving me the P2138 Code and sayin TPS Sensor blah blah blah... im about to order a used throttle body... question is Would a 3G TL-S throttle body fit my 04? or is there no point in lookin into the TL-S TB? i need ur help thanks
Well. They shouldnt be too much different. I dont know why you just dont go for your specified part. for your model and year. I doubt getting the TL-S one is going to make a bit of difference. Let's see what everyone else says though.
why the 05 part number and name different from the 04?? when i dont c any difference?
05-THROTTLE BODY, ELECTRONIC CONTROL (GMA3A) 16400-RKB-003
04-THROTTLE BODY, ELECTRONIC CONTROL 16400-RCA-A01
??? weird

dude p2138 is Accelerator Position Sensor NOT throttle body sensor. They are 2 completely different sensors. You need the accelerator/throttle position sensor (~$120) not a replacement throttle body.
Dats correct... Verified this yesterday with my boy infamouslink... Ill check it out this weekend once again b4 orderin it...
About the larger TB. You'll make more power at low throttle because it's like opening the throttle more with the stock TB. But once you go wide open, unless the stock one was more restrictive, you won't make any extra power.
IHC thnx 4 that note... now i dont need to research stuff on it
