The parts guys said that as long as its CT parts it will not void the warranty on the Acura. Same thing as TRD s/c for toyota as longs as its TRD it wont void the warranty on the toyotas same things on acura as longs as its CT it wont void it...

My dealer sells CT parts and several service managers have voiced that they have and do warrant parts, even if affected by a Comptech product...I've had an axle replaced twice under warranty (first one made noise, boot came off the second one) and both times they were aware that I installed my CT springs and camber kit...no questions asked and matter of fact I had told them up front about the suspension...the bottom line is that CT will warrant the CT part, Acura will warrant the Acura part, whoever did the labor will be responsible for that. If the CT part were installed properly on the Acura, why would there be a problem? I only see the possibility of being shortchanged by whoever performed the install...
I asked them about the SC, and he continued to tell me about a couple of NSXs that they installed SCs on here in Atlanta...I'm just saying that I'd worry about the longevity of my car, not whether or not my dealer was going to be a cheapass. But then again, my dealer provides much better service than most others...

The one thing to keep in mind, though, is we're talking about the CT SC, not the RIPP SC. I'd bet even if (BIG if) they were to install the RIPP SC, they wouldn't warranty it the same as the CT.

There's not a doubt in my mind that they would help me with any CT parts; however, I couldn't say the same for RIPP...
And that's good enough for me to consider Comptech "certified aftermarket" for MY Acura.

The Vortech systems make power and all but the whine is stupidly annoying to me. I'm not a fan of CSCs but they do work. I know Vortech manufacturers some quieter cog assemblies, so we'll have to see what RIPP decides to do. I know all the Eclipse guys love their kits and they've been around for a while.
