Stock Type-S Injector Size?

Question Stock Type-S Injector Size?

I was searching for the injector size/specs and couldn't seem to find it... does anyone know?

And in case it helps anyone in the future the non type-s size is 270cc (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/whats-stock-injector-cc-best-ecu-program-2-use-641025/)

If I recall correctly they injectors are the same cc, I think the casting/shape of the injectors is what gives them a different part number if that, but both 3.5/3.2 are priced the same...

The part numbers are:

16450-RCA-A01 non type s
16450-RJA-A01 type s

Acuraoem does have them priced differently, but that could just be a "performance" markup

Acuraoem have them priced the same... even the local dealer here have both priced the same...

I might be looking in the wrong place then, this is what I have found:


001 16450-RCA-A01 INJECTOR ASSY., FUEL 6 2005 TL 50.95 38.21
001 16450-RJA-A01 INJECTOR ASSY., FUEL 6 2007 TL 138.97 104.23

Last two numbers for each: list price and actual price

I really dont know how your getting that... lol try what I looked up maybe that makes a difference I dont know...

I looked up both base and Type S model for 2008... I didnt do the 05/07 look up like you did...

btw I'm getting a diff part number for 08 vs ur 07 on the TLS model 16450-R70-A01

edit: I just looked up the 07 TLS and it does have a different part number vs the 08 model and more expensive.. hmm... not sure whats up with that...

has anybody actually confirmed if the TL-TYPE S injectors are the same as the base models? 270cc?

Just because Honda changes the part number does Not mean that the part is actually different in ANY sort of way. Honda likes being tricky like this for some odd reason. If the same identical part is fitted on a different year or model, they give the identical part another number.

Seriously, I don't know about the injectors. I was talking about Honda part numbers in a general sense.

i got confirmation from Rodney at J&R ECU...

ladies and gentleman, the type-s injectors ARE 310cc. the base models ARE 270cc.

wonder if this includes the KB1 RL 2005 - 2008 .. doing some modding for extra HP and the RL and Type S are same engine e cost I have larger cam profile I believe

^ RL also 310CC. I dont remember if it dark grey or light grey.
