If I remember correctly a stage 4 consist of removing your mid-muffler and stock resonator, and replacing with a straight pipe.

I have a 07 TL-S stage 4 sitting in my garage. It's yours free of charge if you want to try it out (just come get it). I Now run a XLR8 Res and have no use for it.

Stage 4: Mid-Muffler and stock Resonator delete, replace both with 2.5 straight pipe.

Churck Norris' exhaust runs into his cabin because he doesn't get high off of 'normal drugs' and prefers things such as polycyclic hydrocarbons and nitrogen dioxide.

but anyways, I believe this is how it goes:
stage 1 is just mid muffler delete
stage 2 is just resonator delete?
stage 3 is mid muffler delete and resonator replaced with an aftermarket one
stage 4 is straight pipe through what would have been your mid muffler and resonator.

Stage 4 makes your car sound raspy.

Stage 3 is the best way to go, if you're going to mess with the stock exhaust at all. Stages 1 and 2 aren't even worth it.

+1 i had stage 3 but my dynomax resonator broke so i got it replaced with stage 4. stage 4 was too raspy and didnt sound too good. ive also heard good things about the Aero AR25 resonator although it is less popular than dynomax

Well it depends on how loud you want your exhaust to be. When I did my stage one I wasn't looking for any drone or rasp and was looking for something similar to a G35 sedan. I'm really happy with the way mine sounds because while it gets a little deeper and more G-ish around 2500 rpms, it still sounds almost stock at idle and normal driving.
