Stage 3 clutch masters clutch light weight flywheel. Need help!!!!

Hey guys im having a huge problem. I purchased a stage 3 fiber tough clutch and light weight billet flywheel from clutchmasters. I sent it to acura dealer to put on and they called me saying the clutch wont disengage. " its always engaged" does anyone know what could have happend, has anyone heard something like this? Im starting to be convinced that they put it on wrong but cant see how.

I don't know... I'm just confused about the whole situation so they said there going to put the stock clutch in and see what happens but I don't see how that solves the problem

Make sure there's enough freeplay or else your throwout bearing will go out. Enjoy your new clutch. <3 mine.

The fork isn't pushed far enough to press on the fingers of the pressure plate to disengage the clutch.

However, I think this is the reason the stock master cylinder fails for some. If you have to adjust the pedal to move the fork closer then there is constant pressure on the system.

Also, find another mechanic.......

Surprised a dealer even agreed to install it. The people who work at dealers only know how to do standard stuff they are taught. Any aftermarket parts/installs seem to be way over their heads. Good thing they charge more than any other shops heh.

Tell them to look above the clutch pedal. There is a Nut on there.

There are two adjustment nuts. Again make sure there's still freeplay in the pedal. And never have the stealership install your parts again...
They hire mechanics off the streets. They are nothing special.

Are you sure you took it to an Acura dealer? Tell the receptionist to go back to his/her desk and stop trying to impersonate a tech.
