Sprint Booster V3

Hi there! Has anyone tried the new Sprint Booster V3 for their 2007-08 Acura TL Type S? Just curious to know if there is any difference in throttle response performance between V3 and V2, aside from the Pedal Lock and Valet Mode features. I understand that there are some 36 acceleration programs on the V3. Does this mean that V3 essentially allows more customizing the throttle responsiveness over V2?

If anyone happens to be selling a used Sprint Booster V2 in Canada (specifically, Calgary), please hit me up! I'd consider it if it's not that much different than V3.

• Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower.

• Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times.

• Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster.

• Sprint Booster is not for everyone.

$300 to pretend I can go faster? Why not just get the real thing(FlashPro)?

why not just press the pedal down a little more? that what the sprint booster is equivalent to. It just changes the pedal to throttle percentage

Unfortunately FlashPro tuning is pretty expensive where I live. I guess pressing the gas pedal more would do the trick, but that also wastes more gas :P.

I'd love to install a mod that helps increase low end torque / responsive throttle / better acceleration off the line. And reading up on all the info from the forums, seems that something like a RV-6 or equivalent J-Pipe would be one of the more basic yet effective ways to achieve this. Unfortunately the Canadian dollar is so low, the US$450 price tag would convert to about CAD$600, not including shipping fees, import duties and installation costs.

I wish I was a young 22 year old lad with money and not a 42 year old man that doesn't have money!

Yeah that sprint booster not going to do jack. Like it said its equivalent to modulating your throttle pedal. Less input less power, more input more power

Sprint Booster has to be one of the most polarizing products out there. Interesting reads. People either love it or hate it.

Flashpro can be done over email?? Didn't know that. I'll PM you.

Back online after a hiatus...thanks for the feedback guys...what's the difference between KTuner and Flashpro? Actually, doing a bit of reading and it seems Flashpro is better? At least, for tuning throttle response?

The end goal is the same since they're both tuning solutions.

KTuner isn't a bad product at all, but Hondata tends to work better than K-tuner for most cars it's been developed for. Hondata offers more features, more maps, and their customer support team has been great.

Ktuner has recently released their new V2 however. This offers a 5″ touch screen display for on board logging (which means no laptop necessary), and it is also capable of storing multiple tunes. We're looking forward to seeing how this works!

Could someone put up a video, or some images, of exactly what KTuner/Flashpro can do on various car models? Is there a delay programmed into the factory throttle response, or, is the speed at which the throttle opens slowed buy the ECU? I'd like to see a chart, or some graphs, very much.

You don't actually need to buy one of these devices for yourself right, you just need to find someone who has one and buy them lunch or something in exchange for him hooking it up and loading a new "tune"? (Right?) Is there a thread discussing different "tunes" floating around? People share "tune" files?

Just picked up a 2007 base TL Automatic. I am interested in possibly tuning it. I used Diablo for my Avalanche. Made a big difference. What are the tuners you guys have had the best luck with?
