Some update on the OBX Jpipe for AV6

Hey guy,

I got this off from a guy .net and finally have tme to do something on it just got header wraped and I should have my new exhaust system end of this months
***No cat at all + resonater + one muffler in the middle and two stright pipe to the rear each side with Quad tips







and Here is some sound chip for my current setup

2.5 piping with-out 3rd cat and mid muffler(I just washed my car so there some water inside the muffler)

have you tried test fitting them on your car? A few people who tried the pipe said the fitment is not good.

prob used a defowler and is that a Y pipe on your muffler... still a nice fitting of the 4 tips... definitely curious in what the outcome will be...

Just beware that OBX doesn't have the best reputation. They are known generally for poor fitment and quality and less than great welding. I try to avoid their product at all costs just b/c you are never certain whether it will fit and if it does if it will last. Generally cheaper parts like this take much longer to install b/c of poor fitment and in the end it isn't worth it.

The guy I bought it from already have it on his AV6 he already went to a muffler shop and they bent it for him so Im pretty sure that will fit the car and YES the OBX header dosen't fit our car even AV6 so if you planning to purchase this part just beware that you will have to bring it to a shop and have them custom fit it for you and that will be more $$ the guy I got it form say he spent $350 for the header and $300 for the shop to custom fit for him .

Abou the CEL Im just going to use a simlutor(if spell that right) and hopefully later I go check with hondate and see they can do something for me

doesn't headers wrap cause damage to the metal?
Why not get them ceramic coated?
